So so so sorry about the flood. It's such a mess to clean up.

QOTD v2 - What are you getting America for her birthday this year? I've always thought it was kind of funny that we celebrated America's birthday by symbolically blowing it up with fireworks every year, but now I get it.

Great job on tackling those papers and love the cookies. I enjoyed the visit with my sister Saturday and aside from that we stayed in since it was so hot out.

Sadly, not really. We don't pay holidays and the dealerships are open but that business office is closed. We would normally be able to take it off but it would be too stressful Wednesday to get checks out if we don't come in. The team doesn't mind since they don't have to use vacation time but I'm salary so... but I also don't have to use time when I leave for appts. It's a balance.

I spent many years in salary positions and was there on holidays and hours when no one else was there. It is all a balance.

I always loved and was fascinated by firework displays. It is so amazing to me that they can produce those beautiful colors and patterns. I especially love shows where they synchronize the fireworks to music. Cleveland has a show where they do that on a Lake Erie beach.

I do know people with PTSD who are terrorized by the fireworks and of course they are terrible for animals. The do it your self fireworks are loud and annoying and I used to have parties where we set them off. I worried each year that someone would cause a fire or hurt someone.

Where I lived last year, I could watch from my yard. I will find out tomorrow if I can see them from where I am living now.

I am excited to learn that there is now a flying car and the California company is taking applications to buy one. I still have hopes of Rosie, the Jetson's maid being produced. I love Alexa and my robot vacuum/mop.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

So proud of you nailing your goals. You are amazing just like the favorers. I would have a hard time eating them they are so beautiful.

But I did not have a hard time jamming cookies in my face yesterday. I was at a party, and I ate about 4 of 5 sugar cookies. I couldn't stop. They were hard and soft in the middle like the kind you dunk in the coffee. I didn't get to run due to the rain. Ok my health was in the toilet yesterday. No run and no control over diet. I did get my curio dusted yesterday. I have a curio of snow babies and it is my least favorite cleaning job I have to do at home. I nailed it though so I can be happy for another 6 months. I also was not able to run this morning due to rain. My goal for tomorrow is just to finish without embarrassing myself. That means under 34 minutes. We shall see.

QOTD: Very Doubtful. I need to work in the morning. However, I can see some nice displays from the neighbor's driveway so if I do not get too tipsy because I am ending dry June after the race I may stop up and watch from there.

Accountability: None yesterday but Saturday was good.
