Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

I am glad the Hot tub worked out. I can't believe you were in there for an hour. It gets way too hot for me I think ours is set for 30-minute increments. When it stops, I am ready to get out. Today I wouldn't even be able to get in because my bathing suit was hiked up high on my ass as I was laying on my stomach and my ass cheeks are a little burnt today. Didn't stop me from running though. Last Monday I clocked a 12:22 mile today I clocked an 11:55 mile. 7 days till the race. No sure if I will cut any more time before then but I know I will finish the race.

QOTD: Absolutely not. I still believe the Surgeon who did my first surgery was still drunk from the night before. 8 days later I was revised to an RNY, and that Doctor was let go from the practice that same year because he had a huge malpractice case against him where a young women passed away (not a WLS) some other trauma issue. The first surgeon still runs that bariatric group and the second surgeon moved to the central part of the state and started his own bariatric clinic. I was fortunate to find a great clinic and a great doctor at UPMS McGee here in Pittsburgh. Ooops thought you said surgeon. I wanted Sleeve but ended up with RNY. No, I would not change that.

Accountability: Way too much grazing.

I made an appointment with a weight loss clinic after seeing some advertisements for lapband. The surgeon told me that he did not recommend the lapband and suggested RNY instead. I am so glad that he did and I started with the RNY.

Hey y'all. We're somewhere in Virginia, between Richmond and DC. Supposed to be home at 8 tonight, but with a couple of bathroom and gas stops I'm thinking 9.

The weekend was fantastic. I'll post more, and some pictures, another day.

QOTD: Never had a thought about RNY being wrong for me. It's the best health decision I've ever made. Like most, the thought of the band appealed to me, but two minutes with the surgeon changed my mind. VSG was still fairly new, and I'm glad of that. I've seen too many revisions to RNY, and too many Gerd horror stories. Do it once, and be done.

VSG was still too new for me when I had my RNY in 2015. It just hadn't been around long enough to prove itself, in my opinion, and I had a fear of it become "Lapband 2". Fortunately, it hasn't - but still, I've seen too many revision cases. I'm glad I went with RNY.

Good morning. Back from my last beach walk. I've exercised every day for the last ten days. Getting back in the saddle. We'll be home in about two hours. Lots to do today. Emptying the rig of all food and clothing. Cleaning and defrosting the fridge and freezer and then a deep clean. I'll be running back and forth from the house to the rig all day. But tonight I get to sleep in my favorite bed and use a full size bathroom. I'm definitely looking forward to that. I'm not overly happy or sad this trip is ending. It's been the right amount of time for an adventure like this.

QoTD: I went in wanting RNY, my doc said she considers it the gold standard and we never looked back.

Bites today are dicey, but I'm aiming for

B: cottage cheese and hb egg

L. Second half of a cheeseburger innards

D tbd could easily be a taco from my fave place. I haven't had a taco in months.

Peace Everybody

Yay, finally a full size bath. Funnily, I feel that even coming back from Europe. We are so used to large showers here that when I go home I feel like I don't have room to move around.
