What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
one of my FB friends (he was working on a second PhD here a gazillion years ago - we met through the international student group (he's from Russia) asked me how I knew I was actually related to these people - ("just through DNA crap?" he asked - sheesh!). He said maybe they found my family tree somewhere and were impersonating people on my tree, and they're going to try to scam me. What a ridiculous idea! Plus one of his PhD's is in biophysics - so..."DNA crap"? He's a freaking scientist! He's left so many inane comments on my FB posts the last few years that I moved him onto my "Acquaintance" list so he'll stop seeing my posts (except for the ones marked "public" - which is very few of them). I don't want to ditch him entirely, but I'm getting really tired of his stupid comments..
Good Morning All and Happy Friday,
What a beautiful day to be alive! I'm about to load up the car and hit the road. On my way, I'm stopping in Bloomington/Normal to grab lunch with an old friend and picking up a Portillos chocolate cake for my friend's wife. Really excited for the trip, which will be my first post-Covid.
The fun starts right when I arrive in StL with getting adjusted by my chiropractor friend, eating late lunch, and going straight to the Fall Out Boy / Alkaline Trio concert, then meeting up with my friend and going to play a poker session overnight.
QOTD- I would ditch the cell phone. I can't imagine being without a cell phone. However, having to be inconvenienced by a broken leg is worth a week of being incommunicado. Not having a leg to stand on sucks!
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.
L: Lucca Grill, Bloomington. I'll take a suggestion from my friend, who works there.
D: ?? Something pre-concert, maybe BBQ.

Good morning ~ Awesome pics, love that shirt. TGIF - I always think - YAY I get to sleep in tomorrow! however that never happens because our cat won't allow it. At least I don't have to hit the ground running and I do love that. Yesterday's meeting went really well. I ended up skipping the dinner because I was wiped out. Today is a short day with lots to do, so I'll make it a good one. The weekend is wide open but will include intentional exercise.
QOTD - If I didn't need the phone to function? Bu-bye - but I do, so broken leg it is.
B- coffee, egg bites
l - leftover pollo asada w/taco toppings
d - cheeseburger, no bun
s- cucumbers and carrots if needed
Have a great day!
As promised - photo dump from last weekend w/Lisa and Rog! I have no clue why some uploaded sideways or upside down - user error I'm sure.
