Good morning!

Yesterday worked out exactly as planned. Walk done, 8 mile bike ride completed, pool time, nap time, food time, fire pit time. Love it when a plan comes together. In the accountability column, I found the second half of the coconut haystack I bought last week in the snack area of the rig and then couldn't let it go. Had to eat it. Hope all my other good food choices and exercise offset it, but the scale was real mean to me this morning.

Today we move onto San Diego County and into a park in Oceanside. It's our last stop and will be full of friends. But first, the challenging hard walk I've worked out for myself here. I've spent all my awake time today trying to justify not going, but I am hoping I will leave as soon as I finish this.

QoTD: I'm just referencing this trip. I can highly recommend that you NEVER visit Los Cruces, New Mexico.

bites today

B. Leftover Chipotle's chicken Al pastor with black beans. No rice. Plus some cottage cheese

L. On the road so maybe the last of the above

D. Fancy dinner tonight with friends. So no idea. It's at a seafood forward place, so I hope I make good choices.

Peace Everybody!

Wow, you did amazing this whole trip with food and exercise and alcohol. You deserved the haystack. Can you hear your bed calling yet? How nice you're going to your regular camp site to be with friends before you head home. I am in Awe of your adventures. Hope you can head back to Pittsburgh sometime. Would love to show you more.

That meme was so appropriate for today. I had the last four letters in order on the second guess and still ran out of guesses because there were so many .and I started with b as the first guess. I will visit NC in the fall but can't handle the humidity and heat in the summer. Have a great time and stay close to the air conditioners.

I don't remember where you are going to be in NC. My family has a pub in Wilmington with great food. If you are close to Wilmington, then let me know and I will make sure you get a great meal.

Good morning all and Happy Thursday,

Grim- How were the bulls? How did their stadium compare to the rest of the minor league stadiums that you've visited?

Today is a mad dash to get everything in order bf I hit the road tomorrow AM. I'm treating my car to an AC recharge rn. Only the best for my beauty.

QOTD - I don't have anywhere where I wouldn't return. I feel like a follow up trip may be different. However, id be perfectly fine with not spending any more time in Cancun. I hate all the touristy places and am treated like a tourist in all the local neighborhoods. I love love love Isla Mujeres so Cancun will be in my future.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

L: Pulled pork & green beans.

D: clearing out the fridge so a podge.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

The Bulls were great, and the stadium is beautiful. All of the minor league ballparks I've been to are pretty new, and they've all been really nice. This one seemed more fan-friendly than most. We were there on Wednesday, which is always "Kids Eat Free" night, and there were lots of them, which is fantastic. They also had a couple of stations where you could bring your souvenir soda cup and refill it yourself, free. I've never seen that, anywhere. It really made for a different vibe.

G'morning all!

June gloom is back and our sun went away. It was just a two days teaser.

I am chugging along with the new program but I am beat. Last night if it was up to me I would have skipped the last meal but I hadn't reached my macros so had to do the eggs w/cottage cheese. I'm also exhausted with all of this working out on top of my workout. If the scale hasn't moved by this weekend I'll be one of their crankiest customers. On the plus side I have discovered I liked rolled oats, and I am enjoying more veggies and fruit in my diet.

QOTD: TX & FL. Don't wanna spend a dime of my money in those fascist states.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Rolled oats w/blue berries
  • Chicken skewers + cucumber tomato avocado salad
  • Kiwi, epic chicken
  • Hb eggs w/cottage cheese
  • E: 5.75 miles wog, 1/2 hr HIIT

Happy jr Fri-yay!

Thanks for the update on your program. I'm really curious to see how it ends up.

I'm with you on Texas and Florida. I just read another article about the Texas Rangers baseball team -- they are the only team of 30 that just dug their heels in and refuse to have a Pride Night. I'd add Alabama and Mississippi to my no-go list as well.

A friend of ours, their son got recruited by University of Alabama because of his swimming. He was Olympic level and I guess Univ of Alabama has great coaches. He lasted 1.5 years. The culture and the environment, especially after growing up in CA, just killed all the enthusiasm in him. Came back to CA and got picked up by UCLA. He was truly traumatized in AL.
