What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Good morning everybody!
I'm posting from the office because I have a few early calls this morning. I actually like working on Friday because there is less traffic and it's easier (but equally expensive) to find a parking space.
There is going to be a NASCAR race in Grant Park the first weekend in July. Because of that a temporary grandstand has been set up and traffic RE-routed. I will be in Europe during the race, but if I was home then I would go watch some from my office window. Not that I follow car racing, but just for the spectacle.
We have an all hands call this afternoon, I will see if there is an early retirement package discussion.
QOTD: Pretty much exactly the same as Sheila. Me and Marilyn take turns reminding the boys to acknowledge their parents days or birthdays. As DD gets older she is slowly starting to fill that role.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
Looks like you sailed through that degree. Crazy you only have a few short weeks left. That math grade is not fair. Don't they know you have a calculator and a computer to figure it out for you?
I got another calm weekend ahead. I am going to do a Hitt class in the morning. I am going early so I can get the station that has the burpees. Last week I failed on them miserably so maybe if I start with them, it won't be as bad as last Saturday. Then I got Mom duty. It should be a little too cool for the pool, but I still have to get it vacuumed. I may stop and turn the heat up tonight, so it won't be too bad. I also want to do church Saturday evening so I can sleep in Sunday morning and get a run without having to wake at 5AM. Hopefully Sunday will just be relaxing. I may do some cookie baking and get them in the freezer for 4th of July.
QOTD: Nope don't need to we don't have any dads. Even when dad was alive it was just a dinner that he usually made himself.
Accountability: The clearance isle at the grocery was filled with healthy snacks. There are tiny biscotti that are 30 calories each and they are yummy I had three. They had bars and bags of Lilly's for $1.50 and I bought enough to fill my snack drawer. I have been good about not overeating so I think it will be ok.

The watermelon pudding. was better with whipped cream and pistachios like it called for the fetta cream I made did not do it justice.
The garden I planted last weekend. We have had to replant 4 tomato plants already due to a groundhog.

Rudy is a handsome boy and that pudding looks delish! Good luck with the burpees, I hate them.
