That seafood would last me at least 4 meals, and No way could I eat those oysters. They have way too much butter. I would be hugging a toilet if I ate that for sure. Your pouch is way more tolerant than mine.

I learned that day that my dogs love lobster and crab. Already knew they love shrimp! I should probably call out that they give me a lot more help than I generally admit in getting through some meals. No butter or sauces for them, though.
Still been doing some of the fattier foods on purpose as a GI tactic, but I think there is more space for sure in the amount I can eat versus a RNYer. I remember a few people being surprised I was able to get in 48 ounces of fluid so fast. Nothing felt fast about it to me but comparatively, maybe! I hope it doesn't bother you - totally not my intent!

Obviously, your surgery Is much different than what I have. Do you! We are all different. The only common denominator here is healthier us. BTW, I am never bothered just curious.

Always pack extra underwear and extra pills and have them separate from your checked bag. I have run into airport delays and make sure I am prepared. My favorite memory was a snowstorm where I was overnight in Chicago and they gave us pillows and blankets to sleep on the floor in the airport. I woke up in the middle of the night and there were some Japanese guys taking pictures to send home and let people know what it was like to be in an airport in the US.

Always fun when you end up as someone else's vacation memory! And to me it's nice that they gave you blankets!
When our flights were having issues I was speaking with someone about which airports to weather them in and got a laugh about how differently we all think since their first priority was getting a hotel whereas I just look for a quiet corner
