What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Good Morning Gang! We made it to FriYAY! Anything happening this weekend? Today is more school & cookies, then dinner tonight at the Officer's Club at the Naval Base with Grim's brother :) It's a beautiful spot right on the water.
I can hardly believe it, but in a few days I'll be starting Week FIVE of this semester. That means I literally only have 2 weeks left until I start my Capstone and then it's OVER. It's insane how quickly it goes--especially since every single math quiz seems to take a lifetime, lol. If I haven't made it clear, I do not have a future in Corporate Finance. I am pretty sure I won't get a 4.0 in this finance class, either, which means my GPA will be sunk by these two finance/accounting classes. "I could have been a contender"--sigh.
QOTD: Do you have a Father's Day tradition? When I was little we always went canoeing on Father's Day, but we haven't done that in decades. We are not going to see my parent this weekend because they are hosting old friends for the weekend so we'll do something fun for him another time.
Accountability: I cannot stop snacking. I ate what I planned for meals, but then added two Balanced Break cheese & nut packs, plus a snack sized bag of Pirate Booty. I am so disappointed my myself. The good news is that I am quickly running out of food in the house...
B: Protein Coffee & eggwich
L: RGF Chicken Strips
D: Not sure what's on the menu at the club, so TBD.
I can't really explain it, but somehow the navy ended up with lots of great oceanfront property. Smart choices, I guess.

Ocean front property for the Navy? You think their bases would be land-locked...LOL.

The navy does have a base in Tennessee, and one in Idaho, among others. Maybe they're getting ready for rising oceans.

I have a small navy base about 5 miles from me. I'm not sure that even a drainage ditch runs through it, lol.

Good morning QJB and menuers,
Yep, made it to Friday! This is my...'and then' continuation of yesterday.
The short list includes that I didn't pack a pill container for Friday because I logiced that I would be home, apparently. I'm currently scarfing hotel breakfast before running to the office to prep for a meeting today since my bag was checked at the gate last night. And then we were held and delayed over three hours and I couldn't work on what I needed to. :) today will be a blur. Gonna keep it positive and just get going!
QOTD- No. I forget about it every year now. It's like a surprise and then gone.
Pics are from the trip. And edited to add one of my first seafood boil last weekend because I was so happy with how it turned out. Took me hours to eat and was the day I got the message that potatoes are on my no-go GI list.
Menu is hotel egg patties, chicken breast at work, scrounge dinner at home. I have to stop by the GI doctor on the way and get my dogs. I'm ready to hug a dog today, everyone.

Gorgeous river picture. Maybe it's because I don't like seafood but I always find the seafood pictures to look....gloopy. Even when I know it's probably delicious to people that enjoy that kind of thing.

Most food pictures look . . . gloopy . . . to me. Now, a nice piece of crisply fried fish . . .

Fun fact - that fish was supposed to be served fried! I asked for blackened just to make sure I got a gloopy picture! Or because healthier. Still not sure which. :)
