What's on your Thursday Menu?
Nice Vegas story. The First time I was there in 1989 I said I'm getting married here. It took till 2006 to find someone to agree to it. I love Vegas, we have not been back since 2008. Will need to meet you there sometime.

QOTD- The longest I did by myself was straight through from Portland to 29 Palms California. I only stopped for gas and bathroom. It was a long trip. I was 18 and should have been worried a girl on her own, but it didn't phase me.
Work has been hell, all of the work that I have done and the jobs that I thought went to construction just disappeared. They are having to re-input them but we'll have to do all of the work again and upload the files, and redo the budget lines, etc. There are over 600 jobs that are impacted. I can honestly say that I hate this system. Not looking forward to having to redo my jobs. For the ones I did this week I just didn't put them in the new system, honestly there is no reason to. I just wish that they would realize that this is a piece of **** and go back to the old system that actually worked...
My roommate has been working long hours, doing Wilsonville, OR to Bremerton, WA and to Tacoma, WA and then back to Wilsonville. Next week they will be going to stops in Eastern WA and on to Great Falls, MT, so they'll be gone for at least a week possibly longer.
My wild kittens are driving me crazy, I've been letting them go outside in the mornings. I also got a cat door that recognizes only their microchips, but I need to get it installed. One more thing that I need to get done. I did tame the weed test garden AKA my front yard and it looks better, but still needs more work.
Have a great day everyone!

Late post for me! OMG that meme resembles me so hard. I methodically think about and plan food ugh. As has been said so many times before, if only they could do surgery on our brains!
Two long road trips stand out to me. The first was my senior year of college - me and 3 friends drove from Ithaca, NY to Panama City Beach for spring break. No one else could drive a stick so I had to drive the entire way!!! OMG we were broke and stayed at the sketchiest and dirtiest motel. The memories. The second was a summer during college. My best friend from high school's sister had moved to Little Rock with her boyfriend and they had a spectacular breakup. Her parents let us use their car (a Durango, so, super fancy to us with our beaters!) to drive from Detroit to Little Rock to then haul a U-haul of her stuff back. We felt so free! We had nice wheels and we got to go through parts of the country (like Memphis and Little Rock) that we had never seen. I have such fun memories of that trip!
I seriously have a busy few days coming up. Lots of plans with lots of people!
B: Leftover ground turkey taco meat with cheese - yum
L: Hmmm for some reason I am way unplanned. And we ran out of the Boars Head chicken yesterday. The kids will have pb&j and for some reason, though I haven't had that in about 20 years, that sounds really good to me!
D: We have all 3 kiddos tonight - they fly to Orlando to stay with their grandparents tomorrow! So I made their grandma's mac and cheese and I am making chicken tenders and we will have salad. We will also do an early celebration of Father's Day.
Have a fantastic day y'all!
Interesting trips!

Happy to hear the leg is getting better. That is a win.
I am ready to start the weekend but alas one more day of work. Tomorrow maybe a half day. I have a Botox Appt in the morning. Gotta smooth out the crows feet, between eyebrow frown lines and forehead lines. Then just an interview with the person who is apply to day my bosses position since he left last week. I was sad to see him go since he was a wonderful boss.
QOTD: Montana to Atlanta Georgia. We did this multiple times in the early 90's (and return trip). We would rice 2-900 Mile days and one short 500 mile day. Neutral! We have also done Shreveport LA to Lis Angeles. Now I don't like to be stuck in the car that long.
