Good Morning! The week is moving right along. Glad your knee is doing better-try to keep resting it when you can.

QOTD: Nope, most of the time growing up we rented a house and couldn't even have a cat or dog.

I think I am working through some scar tissue issues since it's sore sometimes and even some swelling here and there but my doc told me it'd be this way for a bit. Thanks for checking in!

Having recovered from two major ankle injuries, plan on at least one full year before you are at maximum recovery. I even had to buy all new shoes at the end because my feet and ankles had swollen so much that when they finally stopped swelling I would walk right out of my shoes from them being stretched out. Ankle injuries are hard to rehab. They get so much use and stress. It's good you are being patient and taking care.

It can be very random. A weird step, a different level shoe heel, elevation. Keep working it and doing the alphabet with your toes. It gets better!

I appreciate the encouragement. Sometimes I do feel frustrated and it's helpful to know it's just part of the process. Can you tell I'm stubborn?

I empathize with you about the ankle injuries. In early May I rolled my left ankle while working in the yard. I don't think it was even sprained but noticed marked instability with the ankle while walking (I rolled it several more times after the initial time). I still have instability and balance issues doing left leg poses during yoga. I never really had pain the entire time. I used kinesiology tape in the early days to increase stability while walking and yoga.

I have only played wordle once. I got it on the first try and since the only way is down from there, I quit while I was ahead. I have a doctors appointment and labs today at 1:00 and then I want to get a Pedicure. Then home to pack for a trip to the Keys, my niece is getting married. We will stay for about a week or until my sister kicks us out. It is still too cold for me to get in the water, I like the surf at 80 degrees. I tried on my suit and it is 3 sizes too big, it's the one I bot for girls beach week last summer. I will bring it regardless and just wear a T-shirt over it.

Last week was my 2 year surgiversary, I let it go without remembering....

Menu. Shake, yogurt, chicken wings, eggs. I don't want to buy groceries before we leave, so just scrounging around the fridge to fill in the gaps.

Year 3 sneaks up on people with regain. I got really sick (non- WLS related) right around 23 months. My weight plunged, but as I recovered it just kept going up until I was 15 pounds over year 2.
