ignoring it is not the answer. I have a friend who passed away from ignoring it. If you do not take the correct actions, it can be fatal. Please encourage her to seek medical attention when it flairs. she can kill herself if not.

G'morning all!
Dang it QJB, the knee situation is not good. You sure you wanna wait till Aug? Far from me to tell you what to do, but wouldn't it be easier to start the process now while you are doing your classes online?
Yesterday, had a lovely morning walk with Lisa before they left town. I don't know if I shared here but I signed up for a 6 weeks program where they teach you about macros, carb cycling, and include a workout regimen. I figured I can try it to see if anything moves. I've been low carb for so long that my body is used to it. Yesterday was the first day, I hit all the goals except for carb. I think with addition of a half hr of HIIT to my regular workout routine maybe I can finally get this weight moving. The trainer is very into wholesome food (needs to come from the ground or have a mama - according to her), so my menu will be changing slightly. First week is prep week.
QOTD: I have never played baseball, it wasn't played in Europe. I have a hard time understanding/following the game, even when DH explains the rules, once in a blue moon when we are at a game.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Hard boiled eggs w/cottage cheese
- Iced coffee with PP, epic chicken bar
- TJ kebabs with fage yogurt
- E: 5 miles walk w/Lisa + 1/2 hr HIIT
Happy Taco Tue!

It all depends on my day's schedule. It could be as early as 8:00 am and as late as 4:00 pm. Just yesterday I was telling Lisa that once I got to the forest late and by the time I turned around it was dark. That day was my fastest run back to the car, the woods in the dark have too many creepy noises.

Sheila, when I did Whole 30, (which sounds similar) it did take weight off quickly. Also much better sleep. You are starting from the point of being a pretty healthy eater, so it may not be as marked a difference for you.

The biggest difference I see is the amount of carbs. On a low day they want 50 carbs, and I didn't even hit that. On a regular macro day they want 152 carbs and on "feast" day they want 190 carbs. I'm already panicking, but trying to trust the process.

I found a huge difference between things like potatoes and squash vs. sugar and processed grains. Let us know how it works.
