Good for you outlining some boundaries! It's so hard to take them back when you've done everything you can for everyone before and have that reputation. Protect your sanity!

I think they do more "life sports" with kids today, instead of all team sports (they still do those, too - but they also do things like yoga, cardio dancing, bowling, swimming - whatever resources they happen to have). Wish we'd have had more of those when I was a kid...or a young teen, anyway. It seems like we went from volleyball to basketball to softball - although we did have a couple of weeks of trampoline, which I loved. But team sports - ugh. That seemed like about 90% of it.

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

All I got to say is when will you kids learn. I completely understand having to wait for medical care. I had diverticulitis and I had to have surgery and had to put it off because I bought a house and did not sale the old one yet and financially could not afford to go without a paycheck. The minute the house went under contract I had the surgery. That was my whole summer of 2009. I hope you can heal yourself enough to enjoy some of the summer and the big 50th party you have coming up.

Yeah, it was not raining this morning, so I got to run. Here is my progress report. Last Tuesday I was running a 13:06 and today I did a 12:36. Hopefully I can get it down far enough not to embarrass myself.

QOTD: I never did. But DH was a pitcher in HS and he pitched for fast pitch softball for many years after till he met me. I refused to go to the games, so he stopped. I told him that was one reason I never wanted kids because I never wanted to have to pretend, I cared about their activities. Plus, I couldn't stop drinking and smoking for 9 months. I could have a kid now though no drinking (still dry) and definitely no smoking.

Accountability: I thought I nailed it scale said different.

TSS: 5 years 6 month 2 days 161.2 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF Coffee mate Twix creamer

MS: L&F Banana cream Greek yogurt and watermelon

CB: Coffee with SF Twix creamer

L: Mississippi pot roast and snack select

D: Zucchini lasagna

Exercise: Dog walking 3.1 mile wog (done)

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest Blessings,

Chrissy

Yes, I will register this week. I am hoping to get a medal. I got to shave a lot off my time but if I keep up my training I should be on pace.

My mom has diverticulitis. She was in so much pain and trying to hard to ignore it. She still tries to ignore the flare ups. My sister might have it, too. It sounds terrible.:( glad you got your surgery.
