Good morning everybody!
9 Days until we leave for vacation. I scheduled this trip a long time ago, not realizing that we are shut down the week after I return, so I will get back to Chicago the second of July and go out to Colorado the third.
My son is taking two classes the second summer semester - one engineering and one computer science, so I don't know how much time he will actually have for me. In and case we are going to a concert at Red Rocks and I am going to RMNP one day. Im sure that I will find things to keep me busy.
Today I have to go into the office to get my badge swipe and then return to the suburbs for an afternoon dentist appointment. But my friend is in the office from out of town today, so I would have gone in anyway.
Other than that, CrossFit and watching the Stanley Cup tonight.
QOTD: I may have pitched in little league practice but never a game.
Breakfast: Egg Sandwich
Lunch: Chicken Schwarma
Dinner: Quesadilla

RMNP is going to stay on the reservation system permanently and there's lots of construction at one of the entrances so plan ahead!

Respect on getting that badge swipe. Apparently we're cracking down hard on the "majority of the time" thing and dialing in on the people who just aren't coming in. I've been told my return to work plan is essential for documenting my valid medical reason for not being in the office as much. They even told me they think I'm being aggressive for it. Feels like I should take the offer for as long as possible. Darned office culture.

Good Morning! I'm glad you were able to make the game after all but so sorry about your knee. I totally understand having to wait I just hope between now and August there isn't further damage, you'll have to be very easy on it I think.

Good morning ~ Sorry your knee is still giving you trouble - take care. I ended up have a really busy but productive day at work including saying NO to a few things and asking for help which I never do. I'm done trying to do it all - it's taking all of what little energy I have. This morning I need to take our Sunny pup to the vet for grooming (he has trachea issues and cannot go to a regular groomer anymore) so I'm going in a bit late to work. I have a staff meeting then more TCB.
QOTD - Yes, I tried pitching in 7th/8th grade, but I was terrible and ended up in the outfield where I belonged. My best friend was the pitcher and her daughter is now the star pitcher for her high school team.
Accountability - No yoga, my son came over instead and I ate 3 Lorna Doone cookies - they look so innocent, but they are dangerously good.
