I have been in a ton of book and movie type clubs. If you are interacting with other people, there are always going to be things people like and thinks people don't. I mean some people loved cocaine bear...and my entire Bookclub HATED, HATED Anna Karenina, and were split evenly on this horrible mystery suspense The Maid. That's part of the fun, in my mind. Also, the woman that picked AK will hear about it for just as long as I get reminded that I made everyone read Founding Brothers and I was the only one that enjoyed it. That's also part of the fun!

we also have people that come that don't read the books. They know we will not avoid spoilers and they come for the companionship and because they like us, maybe more than they like reading.

Good morning all and Happy Monday,

It was a good weekend despite being flaked out on Saturday afternoon and having a really ****ty conversation Friday night to end the night. Positives - my shrimp boil turned out great and was a really fun night. I met with a new sponsee. I've started to get to know someone new. I had a meal with just my sister and myself. It was great to spend the time together. We hadn't spent any alone time together since before my Dad's issues occurred at the beginning of the year.

QJB-glad you're cookie class went well and you're putting down your foot with Grim to stay home to get better and take care of himself. You've nailed a successful business model. There was a bar here with an alcoholic anonymous club above it. The bar offered a free drink if you turned in your Sobriety coin.

QOTD- I'm completely spontaneous and impulsive. I really enjoy going wherever the tide takes me. The spontaneity has suited me well in the past. The impulsiveness has been a gift and a curse.

Accountability- two donuts yesterday. There's a wonderful and horrible app called too good to go. It's set up to eliminate food waste (even though most restaurants use it as self promotion). You pay 1/3 retail price and get a mystery bag. I picked up a bag at a coffee shop and they gave me coffee and three donuts. I ate an apple fritter and a blueberry cake donut. I planned on eating half of each but they were so good that I ate the whole two donuts.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine, lox and 1/3 bagel.

L: Boneless chicken thighs stir fry, salad.

D: Maybe meatloaf or chili, asparagus.

The app is a great concept but a dangerous one for us impulse eaters.

Good Morning! Yay for a great cookie class but a big BOO that Grim caught that yucky cold-I hope he's feeling better soon. We had a restful weekend and I feel like what I was dealing with end if the week was allergies. We did go to dinner with Em and her BF on Saturday night, we've met him in the past since they went to school together but this was the first since they've been an item (for about a month, maybe). It's nothing too serious from what she's told me, but they have fun and at this point that's all that matters.

QOTD: Not usually, I like a plan/schedule.

TSS: 8 years 9 months

B: SF latte, Fiber/protein oatmeal, turkey sausage, and an orange

L: Turkey and cheese sticks, carrots, light and fit yogurt and some fruit

S: Protein puffs, a piece of fruit and yogurt

D: Apple chicken sausage, zero net carb tortillas, cauliflower with cheese sauce, a banana, and dark chocolate

ES: Cottage cheese

E: Treadmill

V/W: On track

Totals: Cals:1314 Protein:102 Carbs:129 Fat:57

Have a great one!

Bf? What do we know about him? I want all the details because I feel like I've known Em forever and I need to approve of this "bf"!
