I will let you know how it is! I tried to book our stay there but they were already 100% booked for the whole summer when I tried to book in April so we'll just be evening-trippers for the seance, lol.

Good Morning! I'm so glad you're feeling better. I actually came home early yesterday and took today off. I'm not as sick as I would normally have to be to take time off but I didn't have anything urgently pressing and just knew if I didn't get some extra rest I'd end up full blown sick. Just trying to sleep it off, I think it's allergies so a laid back weekend is in order. HAPPY BIRTHDAY, JOHN!!

Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
That is great news you're feeling better, and you can move forward with your weekend plans. Happy Birthday Grim. Hope all your birthday wishes come true. I got a low-key weekend, as in no parties but the usual, Mom duty and I need to get the garden planted if I plan on getting vegies before the first frost. It is tilled and weeded I just need to get down the garden fabric and plant. Did anyone see how they use a blow torch to put holes in the gardening fabric to plant. I am excited to try it. I do have a pedicure at lunch today. My feet really need it after all the time they been spending in running shoes.
I did try the watermelon pudding without topping. I will top some tonight, but time got away, and I couldn't last night. I did use the recipe with the vanilla and not the one with cinnamon. I really liked it. Next time I will be replacing the cornstarch with Xanthan Gum, but I think the 6 packets of Stevia was perfect sweetness.
QOTD: March of 2018. Yes, I lurked for a while until a QOTD came up and I couldn't hold back.

I bought a weed torch last year thinking it would be better than RoundUp or weeding by hand. Everyone who looked at it shook their heads and said I would probably burn down the house if I used it. I ended up giving it away and hired someone to dig out the weeds instead. I think using a blow torch on the gardening fabric is a great idea as long as you are strong enough to control the torch.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I've seen the torch on the gardening fabric technique, but have not tried it. I don't know if all gardening fabric is the same. But don't stand on it until you've tested several holes on the edges, in case the whole thing goes up in a flash.

It's been a week. The company I work for cut over to a new system on Monday. It too****il Wednesday afternoon to get access. Even with access I have no idea what I'm doing. They also did not have a process for one of the things that I do so I was on a Teams call with the VP, and the managers and we kinda winged it and figured something out. Not that it is right or will even work.
I also received a letter from Wells Fargo saying that they needed more information for my Mastercard application. I thought it was just another phishing scam but it was indeed correct. Someone, probably the same scumbag that hijacked my cell phone applied under my name for a credit card. So I spent an hour talking to Wells Fargo and got it taken care of. So I also froze my credit with all three credit reporting agencies. Talked to Life Lock and on and on... It feels like it's never ending. I still need to change my email and passwords on other apps, it's going to take a while....
My eating has been cr*p! I haven't gotten out to walk, and I have a weed test garden in my yard. It just feels so overwhelming, I know just do a little bit at a time and don't stress out.
My 3 kittens are driving me crazy, my roommate is home but will be leaving on Monday. I think he's trying to figure out how many dirty dishes he can fit in the sink...
QOTD- I lurked for a while, but am so happy to have found this place.
I had to dispel some myths for my roommates girlfriend. She is going to have bariatric surgery and has been following some group on Facebook where everyone dumps, everyone has had side effects, etc... I told her to come here. we are much more real and people are so helpful and kind.
Happy Birthday to Grim!!!
Have a great day everyone!
