Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,
QJB, I hope my prayers had something to do with you feeling a little better today. If not no harm no foul. I am just glad you're on the mend.
OK back to the watermelon pudding. As I dug into a few more recipes most called for 1/4 cup of cornstarch no 2 Tbls. So back in the pot and added more of the cornstarch and it is looking more like pudding now. No Grim I am not adding vodka today. Maybe next time let's see how much weight I get off this Dry June. I did take a taste and so far so good. It is in the fridge and tonight I am going to make the feta topping and try it. If I remember I will take pictures. I am actually excited about it.

Good morning. Clearly I can tell I'm back on the west coast. About the last one in the bunch to post. Back to status quo. I'm good with that.
I survived yesterday. It wasn't even really horrible. But I did stand my ground twice. My food choices were very good, but I did have a big glass of wine last night. It was fine in my calorie count...just not what I was planning for. Not only did I get my exercise in yesterday, I hand washed my car, did all the laundry running back and forth to the laundromat, cleaned out the rig and stripped and made up a fresh bed. Very productive day.
Today we drive on to Ashland for a quick overnighter. I should walk here today since I know I can get in a good workout at l this place, but I'm not feeling it so hoping tonight's place works out and I'll walk before dinner.
QoTD: the drivers know black dog and brown dog by name and can tell if they are in the yard. If they are, the package gets tossed over the fence. If not, we get front door delivery. Monte still goes ballistic when the nicest Fed Ex guy ever delivers his kibbles. Every single time. Monte may not be the brightest.
bites today should be
B. Cottage cheese and the last of the roasted chicken
L. Half a leftover hamburger patty with the half slice of cheese and bacon it came with
D. Homemade chili and cornbread
