I always love it when I order something from Walmart and it shoes up in an Amazon box. Then I know there wasn't enough price checking! Love that pic of you two!

Mornin' All!

wow did I wake up (super early) with a monster headache. Maybe it was the smoke from the Canadian wildfires? I have no idea. I took some Tylenol around 4:00 am. It's better - but still there. Hopefully it's on its way out. I have the whole day free today, so my plan is to get a TON of stuff crossed off my "to do" list - then maybe i can finally start planning out what I want to see while I'm in Scandinavia (I leave in three weeks!)

QOTD: I used to buy from Amazon whenever I couldn't find something locally - and/or Amazon was a lot cheaper. But I always skim through the reviews, and I've read a fair amount of them that claim their product was out-of-date (if it's something that expired), or "not the real thing" (i.e. a knockoff), that I'm a lot more careful now. And after buying a replacement adapter for DH's laptop that caught on fire after a couple of months - and some vitamins - (B-complex that I've used ever since surgery and I'd always gotten through PureFormulas but figured I'd get 'em through Amazon that one time) that looked several shades darker that they should have (they're capsules containing a yellow powder), I was suspect. I still do buy from them occasionally (I've purchased some books from them recently, for example) - but it depends on what it is. No such thing as an expired or knock-off book, so that's a safe one.

B: not really hungry, so I may just have a protein shake before I head out. Coffee with half & half

MS/L: if I'm still out, a protein bar. If I'm here, skyr with fruit

AS: yesterday I had some vanilla high protein Greek yogurt with a tablespoon of PBFit mixed in and a squirt (OK, maybe a tablespoon) of Hershey's chocolate syrup on top. It was great and super filling - so I may have that again

D: leftover fajita vegetables and some kind of protein

have a great day, everyone!

I had to make a complaint to Amazon earlier this week, I had ordered something from one of their 3rd party vendors and they've contacted me twice offering an Amazon gift card for a 5 star review. When they emailed me through the amazon tool, I just responded that offer was unethical and to not contact me again but when they sent a postcard mailer, it really annoyed me so I had to tell Amazon. It set off some alarm bells and immediate escalations within Customer Service!

Good morning and yay JR Friday! this week has been long and there's still 2 days of it.

Glad you are starting to feel a bit better, I get the not going to the dr for a cold...although I should not be emulated, I hear "and why didn't you go to the doctor" far too often, lol. Make sure you take a few more days of doing JUST the must dos so you don't backslide, the house can always be cleaned in August when you are done with school.

I did get everything I needed to get done done yesterday and I watched one episode of Strange New Worlds so that was delightful.

QOTD - I go in spurts but it's not a daily thing.

busy day at work and I am taking a rest day from cardio so will just have some weights and a pilates workout today, will be nice. I need to do a couple things this afternoon but definitely not the busiest of Thursdays. I rescheduled my in office day because cell coverage in the office is horrible and I need to buy some concert tickets this morning, I know the two will not entwine successfully.
