I try to never leave the airport when flying through Chicago. That sounds like some crazy traffic! Normally all good since my planes always get held on the tarmac, anyway. Ah, Chicago!

So sorry you are not feeling well. That is the last thing you needed on your busy schedule. I take Sudafed immediately. I also swear by the Neti Pot, but know that is not something you are not comfortable with. I make a pot of chicken soup and add Reames Frozen Egg Noodles. I eat that with saltine crackers. If possible, I go back to bed with the heated mattress pad on and my kitty quickly joins me.

I was practically living on chicken broth and oyster crackers in mid to late April. There's something to be said for the easily digestible foods. I'm glad you're able to cook when under! It was almost Herculean some days just to microwave some Rao's.

The giraffe is I...I am the giraffe. I did so good yesterday on food. No wine. Short but hard walk out to the waterfall. Steep stairs of all different heights, some requiring me to use a crawl approach because my legs aren't long enough. And the walk out onto the beach was all huge melon size boulders so you had to plan for every step and your feet shifted constantly. My legs were really feeling it even before the return trip to the car. My breakfast was great, my lunch was not bad and my dinner was right on target with homemade chili and a couple cheese curds. And then...I ate a piece of almond toffee about 2" x 1" that Roger "thoughtfully " bought me when he went to the Blue Heron bakery yesterday. All of it. Probably had like 400 calories. Didn't even slow down enough to remember to offer him a piece. Ms. Giraffe, what is my problem? I seem to be trying to sabotage my good stuff every day lately.

Today is travel to Eugene, Oregon to hang out with one of Roger's brothers. Food might be a challenge the next two days because they only like places like Applebees. I'm going to try and eat as many meals as I can in my rig. But it's a fine line between making my belly happy and not insulting them. In great news, they don't drink so I don't have to worry about wine calories next couple days.

QoTD: Thankfully I am not yucky feeling often. I usually try to walk it off. But on a real bad day find me in the sun spot in the house napping and reading.

Glad you got the curds! Love that cheese.

And that there were no twisted ankles in what sounds like a minefield of a walk.

That walk to the beach is sort of how I feel everytime I walk anywhere. I am so careful to watch every step and not stumble of fall because I no longer bounce back. I did a water aerobics class today and feel so good walking and running in the pool because the water makes it effortless and if I fall it will be in the water. Then I have to face reality when I get back on land.

QJB-I am sorry you are feeling worse today. Try to rest and get in some fluids.

AI woke up super early today. I think it is probably because I knew I needed to get to work early since I need to leave early to meet the carpet cleaner at the house by 1100. I just kept waking up despite4 having my alarm set. I eventually got out of bed around 3:30 am. I will try to get to bed earlier tonight. Otherwise, I have a meeting before I leave the office, a hair appointment in the afternoon. I am going to try to get in a lifting workout at the house while the carpet cleaner is working. Maybe try to finish cleaning the floorboards and wood in the master bathroom.

QOTD: Laying on the couch snuggled under a blanke****ching whatever on TV.

Accountability: Excellent

B: triple zero Greek yogurt, berries, keto granola

L: Asian chicken salad with light sesame ginger dressing

Don't you hate that? I'm the same. If super worried about waking up late because of something important, sleep is nearly impossible. Hope you can get to bed earlier tonight!
