What's on your Thursday Menu?

Good mornin everyone.

I got a call yesterday asking if I could do the colonoscopy tomorrow. I said sure THEN she called back and told me to start the prep right away as the doctor wanted to do it today. I said yes as I just want it done. Prep has been a nightmare though. Tell me why they make the damned stuff lemon flavored? Disgusting. Anyway...got it all down and managed not to throw up like I felt like I should. Just ewwwww!

We're getting yet more rain. They are having to do mandatory evacuations in low lying areas, this is just bonkers. Absolutely bon, of course we'd been in s drought and now the farmer's fields are water logged. Feist or famine!

Thats about it for the day. Hoping they can start the IV easily!

QOTD:pliers of course and tons of jump rings.

food is just very unknown today,

Congratulation on getting the colonoscopy.

Such a short notice would not work for me. I need at least 2 full days prep. My gut motility is really low. I often do 3 days when I need that. 1 day clear liquids, then 2 days full prep days.

Thanks for the well wishes! Everything came out ok. No ulcers or bleeds so that's great...one less thing to worry about.

it did take 6 IV sticks. Even the anesthesiologist took three times only successfully doing it with the little sonogram machine and lidocaine(his idea in case he had to dig around some. It did hurt a lot this time but it's over with.

I forgot to mention my pain clinic decided not to do the med change and try upping the hydromorphone again. Ugh. They don't listen one darned bit.

Good morning ~ You must be getting CA weather that we are missing! June gloom is real and depressing. Enjoy the sun! Yesterday was much better training wise, we are finding our groove and I wasn't exhausted at the end of the day - winning! Today is the 1st so I have May reports to do on my own - which will be a nice break. I have my trainee set up to work with staff. Otherwise, things are moving along.

QOTD - Lordy - I don't know. I would say my phone for all the things phones do - internet, music, books and coffin selfies. I'm not that sentimental about things anymore - it's just stuff so entertain me in the afterlife!

Accountability - great

b- coffee, protein bar

l - turkey taco meat

Loving your number. You're doing great. I see you doing circuit. I love that. Do you plan to start running again. I know you loved it at one time. Can I use the word love one more time?

I did love running - it was SO satisfying to me but really hard on my knees and hips. I will have to think about it. It may go back in the rotation.
