What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Happy Fridayyyyyyyy! I hope you all have a fun long weekend planned for the official start of summer!
Grim and I are leaving at the crack of dawn tomorrow to drive down to the DC area. We are stopping for a quick late lunch with the BEAUTIFUL DCGirl, and should be at our final destination by the evening. My favorite (shhh) cousin's oldest son is graduating from High School and the party is on Sunday. We're turning right around again first thing on Monday because I need to be back for school and prepping for another class next weekend but it should be a fun little trip to see the cousin gang.
Photo Friday--what is summer without burgers and fries? I think even Grim would eat the lettuce and tomato on this one :)
QOTD: You know how we have old historical figures who had added epithets to their name, like "The Great?" What's yours? If you need any inspiration here is a list of the oddest ones and they don't disappoint.

Good mornin QJB and everyone!
Currently we are getting a lot of rain. We've had so much rain since last Thursday...almost everyday we've had rain! Unusual for us...thanks to the El Niño forming! Our lakes sure could use it. The thunder though is a little annoying at night. I like some but the constant cracks are a bit much lol.
Not sure what today'll hold. We might go to the grocery store. Since both my mom and me are on social security we are worried about the debt limit stuff(I know everyone should be. My mom makes enough from her retirement for the major things but money will be tight. So we may stock up on some staples.
QOTD: Melody the unbalanced. Ha ha.
breakfast will be an egg bowl. Not sure of the rest.
Riley won the most awards for the 4th grade and the only one for perfect attendance...lol. A piece I used liver of sulfur on to antique it. And an oh so true meme.

There was an interesting article on El Niño on NPR.com this morning and how it will be affecting the weather this fall.

I had no idea we were in an El Nino weather pattern.

I don't think it's supposed to officially start until this summer.

The article I read had a bit of a Q&A and one of the questions was if the cyclone that hit Guam was related to the El Niño and it said we wouldn't see the effects of it until fall. We'll get normal to high precipitation here from it...and we've had abnormally low so even if it's normal, it's going to feel like a lot. Bring on the rain and snow and fill that aquifer:-)
