Good morning and yay, mid week!

Long day ahead, full day of work, city traffic and flight home. Tomorrow will be busy too but I think Friday calms down!

qotd - More than I planned! Budgets, profitability, cost assessments, resource planning, deviation calculation, too much. Fortunately "you won't always have a calculator" didn't take into account the supercomputer that fits in my pocket.

menu today in the afternoon will be an adventure! I've had the coffee with half and half, will also have skyr and the bit of goat cheese left over from last night. After that who knows but I do have nuts, chomps for when needed and I know I'll be having dinner at the airport.

I did try the cold brew caramel m&ms yesterday, they were fine but I wouldn't pick them up again.

have a fantastic day everyone!

It is funny my first taste of the cold brew m&ms I was like so-so but the more I had them the more I liked them.

Good mornin everyone!

yesterday was ok. My niece Riley won 7 awards...have I mentioned she's very competitive? LOL. She was the only one who got perfect attendance in her grade. She won more than any other 4th grader as she let us know. Rachel's play was cute and long! She did great and didn't forget her lines.

The hospital called early by a day yesterday for pre admit. I have to get bloodwork and an ecg done Thursday.

As for today...not much planned. We may go to Walmart for cat food and a few other things. Nothing big planned.

QOTD: I use it more than I thought I would. Chainmaille requires it. It wasn't my strongest subject by any means.

B: JUST egg bowl and coffee

Hi Queen and all!

have had a full on week and it was all my fault, thought a major essay due for my MBA was due in two weeks but it's due tomorrow lol I worked like a mad man and it's done and surprisingly the plagiarism check thing they make you do these days when submitted didn't find any issues so I just need to pass now lol I do seem to study better under stress! Wish I was better at doing it properly!!

QOTD: I need to do a lot of budget work in my job so I am often doing the basics but I am no maths person!

Food: Had a healthy ish burrito today which was lovely, protein shake, jerky, and a chicken salad plus had a mini chocolate bar that's been in our fridge for a while (was good lol)

Hope everyone is well, enjoy your day!

Good morning ~ Happy hump day! You got this semester, QJB - kick its ass! I can't bring myself to go pick up my new HRT meds... I also didn't pack my usual pill for today. I'm numb about it, bordering abandonment. My boss recently had to stop due to her new family cancer risk. She said that as much as she wishes she could stay on it, she would not want to ever come off it again -it was quite brutal for her. I just don't know. Thanks for all the feedback yesterday, it helped.

Work was good yesterday - busy and with a training I had forgotten about... but I found out that I will be getting a new staff person starting in June - yay! I just lost someone and we were short staffed already so this is amazing considering it usually takes months to bring someone on. That and my replacement for one of my units starts Tuesday - things are looking up if I can just get through it all! I will be good come fall to start training with my boss on next level budgets and reporting. It's work tetris.

QOTD - All day - everyday! Department finance is what I do - all of it. Spreadsheets are my jam.

B- coffee, protein bar

l - turkey, laughing cow cheese (never had it before, 1st time)

d- tri tip

e- gym weights/hydro massage

Have a great day!
