Good morning ~ Have a great back to school day and enjoy the sunshine! Yesterday ended up being lazy and wonderful. We watched PGA championship all day and I had a lovely nap! Busy day today due to a inconvenient doc appt time and location but I had no choice for a prescription refill. It will put me WFH early afternoon and kills my gym plans but I will make the best of it. We bought our tickets for Vegas in August and I'm a happy girl.

QOTD - I am 5'4" though my drivers license from when I was 16 says 5'6"? I am the shortest of 6 siblings and the same as my mom. My dad was over 6' as were most of his family and my brothers.

Accountability - great

b- coffee, protein bar

l - turkey and cheddar

d- tri tip

e - vault work out TBD

Have a great day!!

Good morning. Spent the weekend in West Beach, Iowa at an alpaca farm. Oh the pictures I have for Friday! Except for the one Presidential museum we missed in New York, and the not completed Obama one, we are now done with all the official Presidential museums. A bucket list thing mostly done and a brain full of things. I've made really smart food choices, but this farm serves frozen wine on the deck every afternoon. And it's hot here. I did limit myself to one small glass a day. I couldn't figure out if you have to add sugar to make it freeze and I was scared of getting sick in public, so that helped. And I had very little exercise these last two days. Boo on me.
Today we travel on towards Mt. Rushmore. It should take us three to four days to get there. And I have to find a decent grocery store. The one in this town makes shopping at 7/11 look good.

QoTD: I'm 5'3". Shortest in my family growing up. My cousin is 6'7". Rog is 5'6" and our son is 6'1" while our daughter just made it to 5'2". Looks like the grands are going to be on the itty bitty side as well. Apparently I am considered short, but never know it except for photos with friends. I'm surprised every time.

Foods today are probably (I am tired of cooking every meal, so I might change my mind and have Rog take me to lunch or dinner)

B. Egg, slice of bacon with a cheese shell

L. P3 and quest chips

D. Pork belly with honey/whiskey glaze and salad.

Peace Everybody!

Did you buy Alpaca socks? They are so warm. Don't know if you get cold feet but those socks rock to beat the cold.

My aunt had bought some alpaca socks before we went to Antarctica and raved about them. I bought a few pairs before Finland and now I rave about them. Really warm but my feet didn't get overheated ever. I still wear them around the house!

If anyone would know about warm socks, it would be you. I am going or get a pair for next winter.

I bought an ear covering headband for those freezing cold mornings in San Diego. I have a weird thing about anything with texture being on my feet.

the museum in NY - is that the FDR one? We went to that a few years ago when MIL was still living in the NYC area. I can't wait for the Chicago one to open. We drove by the construction site when I was last down there - the thing is going to be huge!!
