Good Saturday mornin everyone.

last night was rough! I got really ill and had to go to bed early. My head was pounding and I was woozy and light headed. I just felt really bad. Thankfully it lifted around 3 or 4.

No big plans for the day that I know of. I would like to take it easy because of lack of sleep but who knows.

QOTD: what's your favorite song at the moment?

mines a tie. God/Devil - Atreyu. and Crooked Melody - holding absence

breakfast was a protein bar

Opal felt bad about not being in yesterday's pictures so she poised for it it.

Good morning ~ Opal sure is a pretty girl. My 1 month appt went well yesterday. I'm so thankful that i do not have any problems. As they were going through the possible complications list I was thanking my lucky stars. Since this is a revision, slow loss is expected, but no loss is failure. Since have been SO slow, we reviewed my intake and she wants me to up my cals and carbs (low glycemic healthy carbs) a little. Such mixed messages in my head. I have been a saint with no carbs and keeping my cals as low as possible while getting the highest protein. For now, I will add more cals and work on the carbs and see what happens. Today we are taking the dogs to the park, yard work, pantry org, golf. Grilled burgers and a movie tonight - my pick no clue yet.

QOTD - I am stuck on the pharma jingle 'down with rebelsis' and it won't go away.

Accountability - added a protein snack for additional cals. Weight is not moving

b- coffee, eggs w/salsa

l - TBD

d- angus steak burger

s - protein cereal w/FLM

Amy...did you take measurements? I remember at that point when my weight stalled I was dropping inches.

I wish I had. I never referred back to my pre RNY so I didn't bother. Wish I had now. I can see it in my face/neck and feel it in my clothes - so much better. I guess the mind f*** is doing everything I know to do perfectly and not having the success I want.

I know you already know this, but remember you had good loss before surgery and that also impacts how much you loose right after. Probably it's more extreme with the revision too, I would think (but I'm not a medical professional). Keep doing the right things and it will happen!

You are right, I'm not a total loser at loosing! 26 pounds is a lot!! But this is messing with me. I need to stop comparing myself to my virgin RNY results and the other newbies from my clinic. My journey this time is very different. They are REALLY struggling with the hunger, new limits and all the questions/confusion that comes with that so I am thankful there.

I'm with PP. And don't forget the 3 week stall. Loss just isn't linear. My pattern is losing a lot for two weeks, then nothing for 2, repeat -- even though calories have been exactly the same throughout.

I've never been a fan of the eat more calories or carbs school. But as long as you're sure you aren't overeating, you'll get where you want.

Our bodies do craaaaazy things trying to hold onto those fat molecules. A few months in, mine was doing the same as yours, 3 weeks of nothing, drop 5 pounds. Whew!
