We have a greyhound rescue here and one of the fun facts is that retired greyhounds make good apartment/small space companions because unless they are on the race, they are pretty lazy! Isn't that funny? I had considered a greyhound but everywhere I've lived has high rabbit populations so that's not a good mix.

that might be true about greyhounds. My aunt and uncle in Vermont are on greyhound #2 (both retired racing dogs, I believe). When they got the first one, they were told he likes to be in his crate. So they bought a big crate for him, but they never closed him in it - they just left the door of it open all the time and put a big cushion in there for him to sleep on. He was in that thing ALL THE TIME. This second one isn't quite as attached to the crate, but she seems to spend most of her time sleeping on the loveseat in their family room. They have a big house, but the greyhounds have both seemed very content in their own little spaces.

For a long time, I thought crates were cruel but then someone told me that crates were the puppers room and where they go to relax, be alone and all that and I could totally see that! And different dogs need different safe space:-). It all makes sense

I would go to Pet those dogs. We have a Greyhound track about 45 minutes away in Wheeling WV. You can say anything you want but I like betting the dogs. I got to the horse track every Friday in the summer and maybe only 2x a year to the dogs. Not a lot we can do with Ron being broken but the track is a short walk, and he can get up and down if he is not comfy. It's the one thing we can still do without him being in too much pain.

I bought eggs yesterday. $4.99 for a dozen, and I chose the cheapest variety. I read the egg prices are coming down but at wholesale price and not grocery stores. That one will come down a lot slower.

Good morning ~ Sounds like a lovely day you have planned with your folks - enjoy! Another 3 hour training today and catch up work. Hopefully I make a dent in the reports today as yesterday didn't go as planned - it happens. Hopefully today and the rest of the week fly by as they do when work is super busy. Otherwise not much going on.
QOTD - I used to need to wash everyday. I have fine hair but a massive TON of it and it's very wavy - in other words a ton of work. My hairdresser only washes her hair once a week. I can't do that. At best I can go every other day.
