What's on your Wednesday Menu?
I am sorry for all the medical drama with your mom. Between her and the MIL, they keep you jumping. Locally, we have a service called Dispatch Health that will come directly to the house instead of you going to the ER. It is really more like an Urgent Care visit but with the convenience of staying home. They can do an assessment, order tests and some medications. Do you have anything like that in your area? You may need to call the local hospital to check if it is available. That may be an option for next time your mom gets alarmed about her health issues.
Enjoy the pedicure. I enjoy getting a facial, awesome you get one for free!

As far as I know there is nothing like that here, but it would be something I would love to have available. I live alone and hate bothering family, so it would be nice to have a service like that when I feel like I might need help but don't want to call an ambulance.

Your mom must have been so scared. Happy she is doing OK.

Good morning and Happy Humpty Hump Day.
"I'm steppin' tall, y'all and just like Humpty Dumpty,

I'm *****y, I like my oatmeal lumpy." -Sir Gregory Edward Jacobs
Anyone sync up Dark Side of the Moon to Wizard of Oz? I have done it twice and still don't know if it actually worked or if it was the psychedelics.
I started seeing a separate therapist recently who specializes in eating disorders and food issues in general. A member here askedabout my experience so far and I wanted to wait til I had a little more time to share. It's been a really positive experience and really helpful. We work on old behaviors that seem to pop up occasionally, check in for recent successes and failures, . We also explore the correlation between everything food related and my childhood, my family, my learned habits, and other parts of my life with mirrored behavior. I am so glad that I found a therapist who has related experience. I still see my regular therapist but it's great having an hour a week to delve solely into my relationship with food.
QJB- You're having a really rough go of it. I'm glad you're listening to your body when you simply need to rest.
QOTD- I shampoo every time I shower.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.
L: 1/4 sub sandwich(bread is stale now so it's really just a hand sandwich.)
D: Filet and garlic mushrooms. I nailed the filet last night to perfect mid rare but smoked out my apartment in the process.

I'm glad your therapist can relate, as well. It can make a huge difference between the book learning and individual lived experience. There's so much history to understand. Kudos. And your menu sounds great!
