Good morning everybody!

Our computer is not working, so phone post for me these next two days before we leave for Bermuda on Wednesday. After that I?m not sure what we will do to get it fixed.

I hope that the Mom?s had a great day yesterday, Amy, I?m sorry that your son was sick.

The literacy event went well on Friday. It was a bilingual school but I read to an English speaking first grade class. The kids laughed at my jokes and participated. When we were talking about friends one of the girls told me that she was making friends with a third grade boy. I thought that we should slow our roll on that process, so steered the conversation back to the Polar Bear in the story.

Afterwards, the kids all lined up to give me hugs. I wasn?t sure whether that was okay, but the teacher didn?t seem to indicate either way. Later, the first graders went to the assembly room for books, fruit snacks and juice boxes. All of the children at the school got books, but the assembly was for the first graders.

Friday night we had quesadillas and visited with DD. Saturday was lunch with Matt. He took pictures, which I am sure he will post on Friday (I will be away).

For Mother?s Day, DD went to the French Market and got baguettes, cheeses, and syrups which we enjoyed. DD flew home last night. It was wonderful to have all three home last week, even if they didn?t overlap.

I was going to take today and tomorrow off, but decided to work.

QOTD: I am going to visit my daughter for a few days and probably cookout when I return home Sunday. Memorial Day peonies are a favorite of ours.

Breakfast: egg sandwich

lunch: chicken

Dinner: lamb chops

have a great day, all!

Thanks. We were supposed to go in September but weather didn't permit. Hopefully we will have a Wahoo to show for photo Friday.

Good morning ~ Happy to hear you are taking good care. Enjoy your bonus week of freedom! Yesterday ended up being a day of rest for me - no walk or golf - so lazy. I didn't move more than necessary and watched Indian Matchmaking on Netflix. This is going to be a rough week. Lots of trainings/meetings and I'm off on Friday for a doc appt. I have 2 months worth of reports to do and not much time to do it... Pray for me ya'll.

QOTD - When my folks were alive we always had a family BBQ. Since then nothing special. I'm planning a 'new to me' local hike this year, golf and we'll smoke some tri-tip.

b- coffee, protein bar

l - Tj's just chicken

d- grilled chicken

Have a great day!

Four days weeks are great except for when you have to try to cram 8 days worth of work into them! Good luck!!

I loved that show! (Indian Matchmaking). When I was watching it, there were only two seasons' worth of episodes. Are those the ones you watched, or have they start making more? If the latter, I'd better get to it!
