Good morning, everybody!

Another late night last night. DD got in at about 11:00 and we didn't get back home with her until about 12:30. I will have to recap my last two nights with Lisa and Roger on Monday. I have a somewhat longish narrative in my head, spanning from Myrtle Beach Pole Dancers to the Battle of Aachen, but it's going to take some time to get it onto paper.

Chrissy, this made me think of you:

Marilyn: Are you going on any vacations this summer?

DD: I'm going on the most ratchet trip imaginable.

Marilyn: Where to?

DD: Pennsylvania Amish Country

I think that she is just salty that her roommates parent are sending the roommate to Asia for a month and a half sabbatical. Although, I don't recall 25 year olds taking sabbaticals when I was a youth.

Today is a children's literacy event for work. The smart thing to do would be to go directly to the school. But I need to go into the office first and get my badge swipe because of the 3x a week policy.

Tomorrow, I am lunching with Matt. We will be sure to take pictures for next Photo Friday. Other than that the weekend will be; lifting, enjoying our time with DD and packing for Bermuda. I need to send Lisa an accounting of our weekend's expenditures. Everyone be super nice to her so that she is in a good mood when she gets it.

Photo Friday - you guys already know that Lisa is on cute patrol

QOTD: I draw no distinction between sheets and blankets, but I can't have my feet hemmed in like some kind of nesting moth. As long as the bed covers do not extend over my feet, then sheet, blanket, spreads, are all the same to me.

Breakfast: Leftovers from yesterday's brunch

Lunch: Yes, what will the children serve me? Pizza, juice boxes? Hmm

Dinner: blackened chicken

have a great day, all!

I had to look up "ratchet" in the urban dictionary because I knew she wasn't referring to the tool! (this is what happens when you don't have kids - you have no clue what people are talking about!!)

I'm sorry to hear about your friend. It's always such a shock when someone that young passes unexpectedly.
