What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Ooh, and let's make the sand the exact same color as the golf balls.

I saw a documentary about entire communities that are built in the desert knowing they don't have access to water. People buy the houses because they're cheap...and then water agreement are rescinded or altered and people go ballistic. It's like continuing to rebuild on a volcano. I don't get it.

I love the environmental aspect of converting to native species. Are your neighbors coming along with you, or even curious about the difference?

There were enough people in the community aware of the need that the vote to change the HOA to allow xeriscape was the easiest vote we?ve had so there?s that. I?d say maybe less than 5% of the houses have xeriscape in the front; maybe 25% have hardscape/turf in the back (we approved turf in the same vote). I'm not much of a proselytizer though, I figure it will be like solar and eventually more people will come around.

Hi Queen, Hi all
A busy and productive day and I'm so ready for the weekend!
QOTD: just a bed sheet and doona (duvet you maybe call it not sure) for me! I'm not a fan of complicated bedding scenarios haha
Food was standard protein shake; wrap and a ready meal. Oh and I snuck a few pieces of dark chocolate and crushed it in my yogurt! Was lovely .
Have a great day and weekend!
Whoa, QJB. Your QOTD is quite heavy. Because, it's making me question if Grim and I can continue our friendship TEAM TOP SHEET OBVIOUSLY!!! The horror of having a blanket or quilt or duvet touching me...blech! Normally I only use a sheet as my cover so I can't imagine life without it. Grim, make your case here, but the jury has already found you to be guilty.
So glad the weekend is here! We are kid-free so I'm trying a new recipe for kasespaetzle, we have a double date with friends tomorrow, I have painting Sunday and DH leaves town for a few days. I'll be gloriously home alone lol!
B: leftover amylu andouille chicken sausage - it was grilled on Sunday but I'm hoping its still good?
L: leftover pizza
D: snow peas and impossible meat with a jarred indian sauce
Have a fabulous weekend, all!
You've inserted a bunch of made up words, to see if anyone is paying attention.

I had to lookup kaespaetzel. It looks delicious! Do you use noodles or some type of pasta sub?

Believe it or not, a friend gave me a spaetzle maker (she had an extra). You make the noodle dough (eggs, flour, milk) and you glop it into this bowl that you can slide back and forth so the dough drops into boiling water to cook. Then you caramelize onions and mix that up, too it with shredded Gruyère, and voila, a stinky delicious German meal!
I can't upload pics to this damn site so I'll text you what it looks like!
