Good Morning! I promise that I really took it easy yesterday (by all standards, not just QJB standards). I just sat around all day and rewatched the first season of Perry Mason on HBO. Still feeling a lot of pain this morning but it has shifted a bit and it seems like it might be a little more manageable?

No such luck today--I MUST get back to work, but I will really try to stay off my knee as much as possible while doing it. Maybe I will get a little bell to ring so that Grim can fetch for me as needed, haha. He is also being a Prince by delivering my order tonight.

QOTD: What genre of book do you have the most of? I think the majority of my books are historical fiction.

Eating was meh yesterday. I stuck to the plan, but I also found little treats and snacks from CookieCon when I was unpacking. I ate a little baggie of Chex Mix (why is that so good??) and a Buckeye.

B: Protein Coffee & 1 Egg Bite

S: Balanced Break

L: Veggie Burger

D: Deli Meat & Cheese

Morning gang. JB could have taken it a little easier yesterday, but she did better. And she actually slept last night, which she did not the night before.

No big plans today. I might finally buy some plants. I was hoping she'd be up to picking them out, but I don't think that will happen soon.

QOTD: Books. Do you mean physical books, audio books, or ebooks? Physical books are mostly history, with the biggest subgenre being furniture and craft history, labor. Audiobooks are a mix of some of everything. Ebooks are probably more sci fi than anything, followed by mysteries.

The cat and I opened a new ham today, so food is ham ham ham.

Queen! Welcome back! Please do continue to rest your knee. Pop the cookies in the oven and sit. Don't bustle around!!! Saying it because I think you should do what I SAY, not what I DO!

The movie yesterday was adorable. I had forgotten the plot of the book but the movie just felt nostalgic. The popcorn was great too. Did they stop salting popcorn? We had to add like 8 tiny packets to the container.

My books are 99.9% fiction. Part of me is embarrassed that I read all Oprah's, Reese's and Jenna's recommended books. But the other part of me is like, they're really good so why be embarrassed? I'm just not very high brow haha. I do enjoy some historical fiction too - I'm listening to The Things We Cannot Say right now.

B: iced coffee and leftover Turkey taco

L: crab cake!

D: I'm making tilapia in an Indian sauce (can't remember if it's korma or tikka masala) with snow peas

E: a long walk in a park with a friend

Have a most fab day, everyone!

PS Chex Mix is dangerously good!

I'm with you on the salt. And it's bad when you get halfway down and the salt is gone. Seriously, since I started going to movies again I'm tempted to bring my own. I've thought about looking for a travel salt shaker -- something thin, maybe like a flask, with a screw top to keep the salt from spilling. I do not have a problem.

I know who Oprah is, but do not know Reese, Jenna, Korea, or Tikka.
