It's a new week, what's on your plan?
Mornin' All!
I'm looking forward to a not-so-busy week. Classes are over; organization work is winding up for the season. I'm starting to do some research for my upcoming trip to Denmark and Sweden (June 28-July 13). I am SO excited about this trip!! I need to remember to finish up whatever I want to finish up with my classes this week, though, since the instructors will probably be taking their class Web pages down after exams (exams are this week, but I'm an auditor, so I don't take them) - I got hopelessly behind a few weeks ago when MIL's health woes started up, so I'll skip a lot of the readings - but I want to make sure I at least look at what's all there so I can look at the things i'm interested in. I also have a film to watch before Friday's film group (and I'm starting up a THIRD film group because I had a waiting list for my second film group (the documentary group). This one is going to be a non-mainstream film group - which will include documentaries (since that's what the waiting list was for - my documentary group), but I'm also going to add in indies and foreign films).
nothing on tap for today except for looking though my class Web pages and watching the film for Friday - and doing some kind of exercise since I took yesterday off. It's supposed to rain off and on all day, so I'll either go to water aerobics or do something else at the gym.
QOTD: planner for sure! It drives my mother crazy because I'm all into planning her life, too.
B: protein shake, coffee with half & half
MS/L: cheesecake-flavored yogurt pie with fruit compote
AS: protein muffin, L&F yogurt
D: coronation quiche, celeriac soup
have a great day, everyone!
Good morning gang. That's great news on your BFF, PP. That was a crappy year. No pun intended.
Weather here is very nice. We've got three 80 degree days in a row coming up, so I'm planning on doing a little more outside. We have a new living room set coming tomorrow, so I've got to get the old stuff emptied out.
QOTD: I guess I'm both planner and go-alonger? I'm very happy to just go along with a plan. I'm happy doing pretty much anything, and I'm fine with someone else doing the details. But I do enough planning as well. My problem is that I try to squeeze too much in once I start. JB and I both have our own things, and we are both pretty happy to go along with the other.
Here's a couple of photos from ballgames in Cleveland and Syracuse.

Good morning Jen and menuers,
I'm literally fantasizing about food. I've been on a limited diet for so long I think my body is in huge deficit now. The only calories I've had since Tuesday come from chicken broth with meat tenderizer added. I'm looking at food I'd never consider on a normal day, even though I can't eat it. Thanks for the feedback on questions.
QOTD- I don't like being the planner unless I have to. It's stressful. I planned every activity for a two week vacation to Australia for my mother's birthday some years back. They loved it and I was the one toting around all the paperwork to track itineraries. Too free-spirited for that.
Hoping to discharge today and will most likely try to catch a ride home. It will depend on what the hospital says.
So glad for your friend, Jen. That's huge to celebrate.
Menu...water, broth, something savory and mushy. Ready to be home. Miss my boys.
