I watched it when it aired and from my child's perspective then and my adult perspective now, It's not as bad as last year's Guardians of the Galaxy holiday show.

Good morning.

My fever blister from hell is still giving me troubles. It hurts so badly. I didn't have an outbreak in over 20 years so I most likely don't have antibodies to it, and it rages. Ugh. It feels like my back pain is nothing compared with the burning stinging lower lip. Drinking through straw is still a joy (not). Ugh. I sent my doc a message to get me some Rx meds for that stuff, but it didn't show up in Costco pharmacy yet. I take natural antiviral supplements, and use special otc creams but they just moisturize the area so it won't crack and bleed.

QOTD: I'm a sci-fi fanatic, so I've seen all the movies, and then some. Not cartoons. I like children cartoons.

I hate lines, so I never stood in line to buy a movie ticket. And I hate crowd's, so we often wait at least a week from a premiere to see a new movie. Any movie. One of the movie was running in 3D imax near us, and I was after back surgery, so I was not supposed to sit in place for over an hour. We got tickets to see the movie, and we got them in the last row, so I could stand up every 30 min or so to walk in place and wiggle my butt. (Movement was important to prevent scar tissue and spinal nerves adhering (again) to the bones.

Today I'm having a consultation on laser to close broken veins and capillaries on my face. I have a bring red splotches on my face, the veins right under the skin. Rosacea. I wonder what they can do with that and how much $$ it would set me off.

That area often gets seriously inflamed during Rosacea flair, and it's not only cosmetic issues but also preventing more damage. It's my left side - the driver window side, so probably also sun damage. Earlier this year I put UV coating on my car windows so that should help with future skin damage. As we age, melanoma can occur rather fast and spread. Sun in SC can be brutal.

Menu:

Liquids

Late lunch: probably frittata...easy and I can take small bites. (Can't open my mouth really wide).

D: roast beef- I didn't have that yesterday so plan it today.

S: strawberries, apple? Cheese.

Yesterday I did have much to eat overall and late evening decided to get some grain free chips. They were carbs and delicious, but the salt on them (not a lot) git into the federal blister and that burned, stinged...I had to apply ice to reduce the pain. Ugh. But that stopped me from having more. Keith was surprised I was eating "his" chips, until I showed him that they were chips I bought for me, and just forgot to tell him they are "special".

I know he would like them, but he has gazillion other chips at home I don't eat, so I know he won't touch them. He is very thoughtful when it comes to food I can actually eat and enjoy- he won't touch it.

I like how you can pre-order movie tickets online now and select your seats. I remember when DH and I lived in LA area we would go to the movie super early so we could get good seats. Now that stress is gone and we can arrive just before the movie knowing that the seats we want are reserved. Unfortunately, you do pay a convenience fee for this benefit.

Our IMAX + regular screen theater is 5-7 min from us. For popular movies - one of us would swing by and get tickets in advance. Since i like large screen, or IMAX, those tickets are supper pricey. I would hate to pay more to get it on line.

That fever blister sounds miserable and I hope they get your medicine and it heals quickly.

Good mornin folks!

Not much to report. We'll be going over to my brothers house to take a few loads of trash off. I need to clean on the house a bit. All of their stuff here is driving us nuttier. The clutter is insane. They are getting on my nerves so I need to just chill out when I can. They are eating our food and using our stuff and I am just so over it!

My feet are a little swelled since yesterday. Not uncomfortably so but enough to make putting on shoes special. Yesterday was not a great day eating wise as I ended up going a little nuts on animal crackers...of all things. Today'll be better though.

QOTD: nope. I have seen the original three, one of the prequels and one of the new ones. Cartoons...I have seen one episode of bad batch and it was pretty good actually. My family are nuttzo for Star Wars and I'm the odd man out. I think some of them, like the prequels, were horrible.

B: pancake on a stick with chicken sausage

L: maybe a salad or chicken of some sort

D: no clue as of right now

S: ????

You tolerate a lot from your Brother and SIL. I can imagine your mom is the enabler.

And since you did not mention it - they are problem not helping much with decluttering - removing the trash.

Before now - did you know how bad it was? how bad it really was?

We knew it was bad but didn't know it was as bad as it is. It is just horrible and disgusting. Their behavior at our home is disgusting. We finally told them they have to help out more.

I plan on taking a picture of one room today...the living room. It's not even the worst of it all but it's really bad. We've not been allowed in their house for a long time.

Honestly we're just completely overwhelmed. I want them out of our house.
