Hey everyone.

I have been missing on the menu posts because I got Covid right after I started posting and I'm just getting back to a normal routine.

Question answer: I am excited that my family will be taking a trip on a cruise at the end of the month.First time on one and this is a big nsv for me as before I would have never been able to fly to the port to board the ship.I would have also never even thought of going on a cruise as I would have been too embarrassed and more than likely hid in my cabin the whole time while my family had fun.I am hoping to go snorkeling at one of the ports but we will see.

B scrambled eggs with salsa and cheese (this is my new favorite)

L that recipe on the main page looks pretty good and I am still at home so will bust out my blender to try that but I don't have that protein so will use my regular chocolate premier.

D I am the cook tonight so it will be calabecitas with grilled chicken breasts

Have an amazing time on your cruise. The other way of looking at all of the food choices is that you should always be able to find something on plan.

I've been oj a few cruises and I always lost weight on them.

Food: there are always great protein selections at almost any meal. Main dining room ' you can order meat/fish vegetables and skip starches. Food bars - often have great selections of protein. Stuff you face with that, and nothing else would fit. I would get a bowl of berries and SF jello as desserts. IMPO- stay away from other SF desserts- they are more with sugar alcohols and can cause runs and very very bad gas.

alcohol- no, just no. You can have fun while sober.

Room service- they often have great selection of " smoked salmon or a cheese plate. Both are just like skimpy appetizers portions so order 2 or 3 servings.

Walking everywhere- specially up and down the stairs. So good for you.

Last but not least- when we get into the cabin- we request they remove all the alcohol- soft drinks from the cabin fridge. There is no temptation plus we could use fridge to store food for a quick snack - i.e. cold cuts, cheese, etc.

It's OK to eat topping from a sandwiches and leave the bread out. I've done it many times. They really don't care.

Have fun on a cruise..

You are always a ray of sunshine and positivity!

the weekend was nice. We finished the yard work. Now I just need to get to my veggie planting. I need to get a few above ground gardens (ordered) and more dirt. I hope to get that done next weekend.

today I am off per usual. I am going for the second in a series of 3 hep a/b immunizations then a lifting workout. Tonight is another mystery movie (you don't know what the movie is until it starts) I will go to with my friend, DD and her friend.

QOTD: DD's 17th bday. Warmer weather and being able to be outside more.

usual meals.

Good job on the yard. We are still a few weeks away from that here.
