Happy Saturday Y'all

i didn't get to posting yesterday. I did work from home but started the day out at the Master Gardeners annual plant sale. I got starts for the garden. This included peppers, mini snacking peppers, variety of cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, rhubarb, and jalapeños. I decided against any lettuce since last season I really didn't use it. I also purchased 2 boysenberry plants as I didn't have any of those and a few new strawberry plants. Oh and 3 blueberry bushes! Yummy. Can't wait to harvest the fresh fruit and veggies. Of course I will also do seeds for peas, beans and carrots. I also bought a variety of herbs that DD uses to cook with that we will put on pots for the house. Then we did a Costco run. Finally some work from home.

this weekend not a lot planned other than yard work to finish the fall cleanup and spring prep. All hands on deck per DH. I will also do my usual workouts.

pictures are of the chunky blanket event, finished project and Archie living the new soft blanket

QOTD: what is your favorite veggie dish/meal? For me it is my salads which has a variety of lettuces, carrots, celery, cucumbers and other veggies. Second would be potatoes: baked, mashed, roasted, you name it. However, potatoes don't seem to rest as easily in the pouch.

Accountability: extra serving of half nhalf in a second cold brew

B: triple zero Greek yogurt with berries and keto granola, cold brew with half n half x2

L: Asian chicken salad with lite sesame ginger dressing

D: berries salad with chicken light poppy seed dressing

S: 6 pc sf chocolate and protein frosty

E: Inferno pilates with weights and bands, yard work

Good morning ~ Your garden plan sounds amazing. I think you win the prize for the longest running, same daily menu I've ever seen! Today we are walking the dogs at the park, taking Bubba kitty to the vet, going out to lunch ?, then going to see Are you there God, it's me Margaret. Nice day.

QOTD - I love all veggies, but tomatoes are my favorite. I eat them like apples and put them in and on everything.

B- coffee, FLP 42

l- A burger patty out or a soft protein bar or combo of that

d- meatball and sauce

Have a wonderful day

That blanket looks incredibly comfy. I'd be lying down on it too.

I should have made a QOTD for you. What is your favorite ham? Is that better?

That's a great question. There is so much variety. Cured or uncured? Brined, dry cured, smoked? Boneless, bone in? Bayonne, Virginia, Black Forest? Boiled? Capicola, Culatello, Jamon Iberico, Smithfield, Westphalia? Prosciutto!?

Choosing only one would be like choosing my favorite child.

Good Saturday mornin everyone.

Yesterday proved to be a horrid day. Someone called CPS on my brother and SIL. Without going into it to much we now have all five staying with us for at least a few days then after that we'll just have the kids for around 2 weeks. So yesterday was spent readying the house for everyone. Inflated a bed, moved the cot and twin mattress upstairs. JUST A LOT. so much of a change for all of us. My pain was and is sky high as i couldn'g get up and sit in the living room like I usually do. I do have a chair in my room but its not as comfy.

We are both pissed off and sad. BUT this needed to happen as my SIL now HAS TO GET counseling for hoarding. My brother will also have to get counseling. Heck I think Rachel needs to get Counseling too. Jess just needs help.

BUT such an adjustment!!!!

QOTD: Brussels sprouts, Jalepeno poppers and nice fresh corn. Also salads here too. Allllll the veggies!!!

I know people who are hoarders and I don't really think that there is much that can be done to help them. Maybe the threat of losing their children will make them wake up and change their ways. I am so sorry that you have to go through this but it is good that you can be there for the kids. Like other addictive behaviors they may have to hit rock bottom before they wake up and change their ways.

Ouch... THAT'S MAJOR... HUGS.

i know you would take responsibility for them but.. so much work for you. And stress. Major pain triggers. I hope your SIL and DB take care of the issues and get the kids back soon. ouch...
