That kitty is amazing! Well done Sheila! Simply amazing!
Good mornin everyone!
Got a lot done yesterday and now I have lots of pain. Today my niece is playing in a local area music festival with her class. Then we'll need to pick the kids up after school..
I did come up with a new unit with chainmaille. My friend/boss is going to order the rings to try and make a larger set of the stainless and some in copper. Unfortunately the blue in the picture below doesn't come in the sizes needed. Makes good earrings though!
still feeling kind of sick but I can't place a finger on it. I'm feeling so much restriction at time s with very little food. Thinking it's the iron supplement. New one should be here tomorrow.
we are having a miller moth boon here. Those of you with cats may understand the complete madness of the wrecking the cats have done in pursuit of moths. It's highly entertaining.
QOTD: I remember watching Bill Nye the science guy in school. Since I'd say 9th or 10th grade I haven't seen a show of his. I see him on CNN at times though. Also dragon ball z. My brother watched it all the time and I'm glad to say I haven't seen it since.
B: Oatmeal and coffee
L: air fried chicken or shrimp spring roll
D: ?????
S: totally unplanned.
pics of chainmaille!

Wonderful stuff. Are there names for the specific patterns these use?

thanks so much!!
There are basic weaves usually that make up designs. I have made a bit of tutorials for designs that I sell. The ones pictures are designed by me but using basic weaves. I have even created a few weaves myself. I really enjoy it. I'm lucky that i paid some attention to math as it uses it a bit. I imagine if i was good at math i'd be even better LOL
I can post a link to my etsy store if you'd like to see some of my designs!

Good morning! That's an adorable kitty. Love the white paws.
Yesterday's walk turned out to be an easy 1.5 miles. I should have done two laps, but just wasn't feeling it. We went to the Ford library, which is tiny, but gave me more steps so that was a bonus. Then dinner with friends. An excellent day.
Today we are visiting the Detroit Institute of Art and then going to a restaurant that has a tasting menu. My favorite thing.
QoTD: Family Affair. I always wanted to be Buffy and have a Mr. French in my life.

I should look up whatever happened to the DIA. Because it was owned by the city, a judge was going to include its assets in Detroit's bankruptcy, and it could have been sold off. That would have been a travesty.
