What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Good Morning! Well, I guess my body just wanted to prove Jim wrong. Yesterday he said that sleeping until 3am was not "champion sleep." Well, I am here to say that it beats the hell out of 12:45am!
Yesterday was a decent day. I turned in my last papers of the semester, and I already got graded (4.0 for the course!) and I have 2 weeks off until next semester starts :) I also got a lot of baking and lots of other little things done. Plus... exciting news! My kitty brothers have a new sister, compliments of Sheila! She surprised me with this STUNNING handmade kitty and I am obsessed with how incredible it is. Isn't she so talented?? Amazing. I am in awe.
The boys each took turns to give her a welcome kiss.
QOTD: Do you have a tv show from your youth that you loved but haven't seen since you were a kid? Does anyone else remember Small Wonder, about a dad who invents a very realistic robot child and tries to pass her off as part of the family? I knew it was incredibly stupid even at the time, but I loved it nonetheless! Grim found it for me last night and we watched the pilot. Soooo stupid but it brought back awesome memories.
FYI, I am definitely not going to be able to start the thread on Monday--we are taking off at 3am to go to CookieCon! But I promise to check in the rest of the week with many many glorious pictures of cookies and baseball :) I hope we'll have time to meet up with White Dove who is a few hours away, but I am not exactly sure how the schedule is going to line up until we get there.

Good morning QJB and menuers,
Happy Friday! That is such a beautiful, big kitty! Wow. Sheila has mad skills! Congrats on getting everything turned in and your stellar grade!
I remember those pencil sharpeners. And actual blackboards. And cleaning erasers.
A lot of us seem to have sleep challenges. I still aspire to learn to be as productive as Jen on short nights!
QOTD- All we had was rabbit ear-foiled public channels as kids, so nothing crazy here. I still remember David the Gnome with the character riding around on a fox and helping animals. Found out not long ago it's not even an American show. Go figure! Have never heard of your show, JB, but will look it up.
Today I really will go to town! I keep putting it off since it needs to be late enough for the pharmacy to be open. You know it's a fun day when you're just happy to have gotten dishes done.
Menu is still whatever I can eat. Plus yogurt, I hope!
Pics are my screen grab from the other day and my mom's leg after her surgery. I haven't been celebrating the losses because of how I'm getting here, but here I am nonetheless. Cheers, everyone!

There's an old saying: goal is goal.
That looks painful. I hope your mom heals fast.

You're right, it is goal. And yes, she's definitely in pain, poor momma. Little better every day, she says.
