I loved Ann Arbor when DH and I did a travel nursing assignment in Dearborn MI. Many years ago so not sure of what is there now but the little area near the university was fun. Lots of trails to hike and bike also.

Ann Arbor's a great college town, but five days there would be a lot. Stop by Zingerman's Deli, though - it's pretty famous.

EDITED to add - there's a breakfast/brunch/lunch spot there that I used to love - and it's still there! Afternoon Delight. My sense of taste has gotten more sophisticated, though, so not sure if I'd still like it or not. But at the time (25? 30 years ago?) I loved their muffins and their raspberry juice.

Humpty Hump!

I am off Friday to pick up my son from college (that flew by Kelly, you are right), so today is my Thursday. I am going to the gym this morning for the first time since I have been sick. I will probably be long on the stretching and short on the amount of weight on the bar, but it feels good to be getting back into routine.

I may have to send Mike Duffman a bag of donuts. Aussie is furiously shedding the pounds and if I don't seize this opportunity to be the lightest male, I may never get another chance.

Marilyn had her last tennis drill with her team last night. With all of the people retiring and moving to warmer locations they have had to disband the team. They had been together about ten years. She is not sure what she is going to do next year, she may try and join a tennis club closer to our home and at least drill if she can not find a team to join. She may also be coming back to Crossfit if she has extra time with the decreased tennis.

Tonight is Happy Hour. I am definitely joining this week, but probably on a non-alcoholic basis. One of our friends has been on a Glamping trip through the Four Corners area and we are excited to hear about it.

I decided to stay BRAT-ish for a few more days until I get my son home from college.

QOTD: Caulk & Sympathy

Breakfast: Egg Sandwich

Lunch: Pasta

Dinner: Halibut

Have a great day, all!

This went right over my head because I'm sure at some point either you explained it or it is common knowledge, but lost in translation for me. The last couple of days when I saw you putting BRAT, I thought you are calling yourself a brat because you are not adhering to the HP/LC diet. I thought it odd but then I thought he can call himself whatever he wants, he is entitled to that. Finally today when you said BRAT-ish my penny dropped that this might be a diet. So I went and googled it...yup it's a diet.

It's not good as either a WLS patient or a diabetic, but in the short term, I'm just trying to get past this virus.
