Good Morning & Happy Hump Day! I for one and excited for the next few days to fly by because we are getting closer to Cookie Con! Yay! I might run over to TJ Max or Marshalls today to grab a few things for the trip, but otherwise, you know the drill --- Papers & Cookies! Whee.

QOTD: Name your yacht. I am stealing this from something I read a million years ago but I want it! The Great Gatsea.

Good morning QJB! Happy trip prep :o)

Lots to do here today. We have to get groceries and may go to Sam's too...either today or tomorrow. I'm workin on very little sleep so it should be interesting. I also have to reapply at the clinic I go to tomorrow. It's the only appointment like thing I had this week. BUT it's first come first serve and I guess they only do so many a day.

I did get a little chainmaille finished yesterday but not as much as I'd hoped for. Need to crack the whip so to speak on myself. We got some much needed rain but not severe stuff for which I am grateful.

QOTD: hmmm. No idea.

B: oatmeal and coffee

L: ????

D: we'll prob make some chicken thighs since they are on sale .99 cents in the ad that came out today...some veggie

S: no clue

FYI- I've been seeing Sam's Club membership promos for as little as $10/year recently. I've heard that households utilize this promo by using another family member to open a membership and cancel the current membership. Thought I'd mention if it could save you a few bucks.

I got 10lb bags of Chicken quarters at Walmart yesterday for 67 cents a pound. I cook them for the dog. They were very nice.

I've seen those! Neither my mom or me care for the legs. Will think about that...using the leg meat for the pups.

You can throw them in the crock pot over night and take the bones out. You can grind it up in the food processor for chicken salad or use as taco filling. At that price it is well worth it.

Good morning QJB and menuers,

Happy Wednesday! Isn't it nice to have something to look forward to? Cookie Con sounds like fun.

QOTD- Another Day, maybe. Will update if something more creative happens once my brain turns on.

It's been a long few days, folks. On the good side, I was able to eat more yesterday than any other in the last month. I also got an abdominal/pelvic CT scheduled for next Tuesday. Yay for those things.

A couple of weeks ago, my mom got excited about a tuned up mountain bike and hopped on to try it out with her work shoes on. She fell and injured her left knee and right foot (2 broken toes) and kept hobbling around. Last Friday, she shattered her injured patella. A couple of urgent care/emergency visits later, she spent three hours in surgery yesterday and was kept last night due to her stats not stabilizing. I love my mother dearly but also take after her in being stubborn about waiting out medical conditions. We both need to get over that. I did not drive to Georgia but ordered a care package of puzzle books and adult coloring books to give her another option while she stays in bed to heal.

I'll go to the store today, maybe, for bananas and walking. I'm still on leave until next Wednesday.

Accountability- I'm purposefully eating carbs and high fat foods for digestion and high calories.

Menu - still with blueberries and seaweed. Peanut butter, avocado, hummus, Greek yogurt, microwaved grape nuts with fairlife milk

Hope you all have a great day!
