I love any pool and also enjoy swimming in Lake Erie which is our North Coast. It is freshwater, but great sand beaches and waves.

G'morning all!

Thank you all for your well wishes and concerns about my mom. She is doing better, it's just scary when your parents get older and you realize they might not be around for ever.

Are you guys superstitious? I am not until it serves me. The day I was dealing with my mom's news I lost my watch and wedding band. The wedding band was looped into the watch band. I am assuming I was doing the dishes and took them off. So all day Wednesday I couldn't find them. I looked in all the obvious and not so obvious places but nowhere to be found...poof gone. Yesterday, I was gonna go on my run and was really miffed because without the Garmin my miles wouldn't be captured. So I remembered when I was little my grandma would tell me to pray to San Antonio, because he is the patron of lost items. I went out for my wog and during the wog had a talk with San Antonio. I even made a deal with him that if I get my wedding band back he could keep my watch. Once back at home I was watching Luna taking her toy out of the toy basket and what comes out of the toy basket? My watch and wedding band. I have no idea how they ended up in her toy basket. She is not the type of dog that would steal stuff (we had a dog who would steal socks and tshirts) she is happy with her toys and chewys. The moral of the story is San Antonio is real.

Hah...I didn't realize but last weekend's hike was at Rancho San Antonio. What are the odds? As you can see I was excited about all the green.

QOTD: pool for sure! Or any still water. It's very hard to swim in the ocean with all the currents. You'd think you have swam a lot but you are still in the same place, or you think you are still in the same place and look back at the beach and you are way off.
