I never liked shadow boxing when I took lessons. I guess I am not creative in how to punch an imaginary opponent. Boxing is fun but I don't like to be punched in the face. I am happy to box the bag.

That's why I liked the structure of 9 Round. I'm so uncoordinated against a human that the bags helped. I miss that place.

So many people have never heard of Trixie Belden series I have even looked for the books at used bookstores without any luck. Happy to see a fellow fan.

do you remember "Cheri Ames, Student Nurse"? I had some books from that series, too. I think they came from the same aunt that the 1920s/30s Nancy Drew I once had came from...

Good morning everyone. How grown up are we? We were out until way after bed time last night. Way after. 10 pm. Crazy, right?

Does anyone think it's wrong to substitute movie popcorn for dinner? If you do think it's wrong, I'm not sure we can be friends.

QOTD: I've been racking my brain trying to think of a favorite book, but I can't. There were so many. I read series like the Hardy Boys and some ancient book series, Baseball Joe and The Boy Allies, that were handed down tome from an uncle who died 20 years before I was born. I read a lot of Mark Twain, Robert Louis Stevenson, and Hans Christian Andersen. And I devoured anything by Isaac Asimov and especially Robert Heinlein.

If anyone doesn't think that movie popcorn is an acceptable dinner, I'll block them.
