Ouch the hands. Unfortunately the only thing that works for me and my hands is diet.
Very strict diet, avoiding sugars, alcohol, nightshade vegetables fruits and supplements, and diet that is low FODMAP. Practically clean keto-paleo, while avoiding the vegetables that increase inflammation in my body (check above).
When my arthritis flair, put herbal anti independence cream on my hands plus good compression gloves when I sleep is a must. The compression gloves I need must be small (my glove size are L), and breathable. They need to cover all my joints, but I do best with the tips of the fingers exposed.
Parrafine baths for hands, massage devices to increase circulation in my hands. Normally I need cold temperatures but my hands need to be warm. I.e. on cool nights I would turn my steering wheel heat on as I drive.
Qotd: we didn't have American type charter books, and I started reading around 5-6 years old, and by the time I was in a second grade my reading was more advanced that a typical 8-9y old... we didn't have a lot of books at home, but libraries were always available to me.
Accountability: my gut is still not ok, but I have nice dinner out, plus LNS cheese, strawberries, and apple.
Today:
Lots of liquids..
L: maybe ...depends how I feel
D: ugh...again..it depends but most days if I don't eat during the day, I'll have some proteins and veggies for dinner.

Mornin' All!
I can't believe I skipped class yesterday simply because I didn't want to go (I've missed it a couple of times before, but for legitimate reasons). I was feeling kind of blah and it was cold and rainy out, so... I've got another class today - I should probably attempt to make it. Next week is the last week of lectures for these two classes - then after that (for both classes) there are class presentations by the students (which I may or may not go to), and then exams, which I don't take since I'm auditing. So I should probably make an attempt to at least go today's lecture - and those scheduled for next week, because that's kind of it... Otherwise, not much on the agenda today other than a couple of errands and making a final decision on what to do as far as insuring my upcoming trip to Scandinavia (because with an elderly mother and MIL, the latter with a lot of serious health issues, I think it's important this time in case I have to cancel the trip - or cut it short).
I think I mentioned that I'll be meeting my second cousin, who lives in Chicago, in Almhult (Sweden) one weekend for some family gathering (she knows these relatives because she's been there a zillion times, and my dad knew them, too, but I've never met them). She's not sure if we'll be staying with one of them or at a hotel yet, but if the latter, I really want to stay at the IKEA hotel! ****A, the company, is headquartered in Almhult). In fact, I'm kind of hoping we won't stay with relatives, since I really want to stay at this hotel!!
QOTD: not all of these are chapter books, but I remember liking: Nancy Drew, Trixie Belden, The Voyages of Doctor Doolittle (which if read now, most people would be shocked by the racism - but that's true of a lot of books from that era, unfortunately..), My Friend Flicka, Black Beauty, The Phantom Tollbooth, the Oz books (but I only read three of them, I think...) - can't remember what else, but I read constantly when I was a kid!
B: plain skyr with cranberry/cherry compote and 2 T Grapenuts, coffee with half & half
MS: protein shake
L: more skyr with mixed fruit (kiwi, banana, blackberries - no dressing)
AS: L&F creme brule with a teaspoon of tahini stirred in
D: chickpea/miso spread sandwich, Sweet Kale (bagged salad)
ex: I'll do something at the gym - we're supposed to get thunderstorms again today
Did you look at the cabin room? So small. That would be fun to stay at that hotel. Just tell family you want to book a hotel for at least a night or two.

are legitimate reasons... more than one reason.
BTW: when I feel like that, and chose to skip something - I always tell myself, or rather - I fell as if my intuition told me to just no go... and there were a few instances that the same evening or the next day - I would read about a multiple cars accidents on the Hwy I would take going to the event.

I love the meme.
QOTD- I don't remember specific books, but I read everything. I'm a little more selective now. I've never read the book everyone is talking about. I was probably too old for it when it came out.
I've been busy with work, this will be 2 full paychecks in a row. Yeah!!! But on the other hand they have decided to change the program that we do most of our tracking, and uploading of documents, and assign tasks in. The new program goes live on Monday and I spent 2 1/2 hours of my life I will never get back in a truly pathetic training. The database is not live so we basically got a powerpoint with a few demonstrations in the "fake" database. It is horrifying that they decided this without truly understanding how we currently do business, and knowing all of the groups that use this program or how they use it. It goes live on Monday and the other system will be dead. My boss is not happy.
My roommate got all but one of the cameras installed. So I can see anything that goes on, and will be notified of motion on my phone.
I need to get to work.
Have a great day everyone!
