What's on your Tuesday Menu?
I took the reintroduction pretty slow, but I am trying to eliminate artificial sweeteners and see if that helps.

Good morning ~ Although I do love me a nugget, for me it's more like body by cheetos cheddar puffcorn. Yesterday - walk the dogs, work, no nap, Rob came home not feeling well, watched the beginning of Peaky S1E1 twice. Today - walk the dogs, work, real nap? whole Peaky episode or two? I'm bored and cannot focus. I have energy but I'm limited. Weird time.
QOTD - I never got an allowance - ever. I started at 12 -babysitting, summer day camp assistant, paper route, raking, mowing, shoveling, walking dogs and 13 - picking cucumbers full time on the farm for 3 summers - worst job ever but paid well. 16 - Part time high school schedule, I worked at a pharmacy in the afternoon, nursing home kitchen in the evening and a different nursing home kitchen on the weekends. How I found time to party, I'll never know, but I always had money.
Accountability - I had some Andersons pea soup - heaven. I don't think I can look at another cup of broth without gaging

There's a hysterical scene in an episode of "Everyone Hates Chris," where he asks his father for an allowance. "Allowance? I allow you to live in my house. I allow you to eat my food. I allow you to use my electricity. I allow you to sit in that chair . . . " And goes on and on. That would have been my father, if I ever had the nerve to ask. Which I did not.
The lawn mowing duties were mine as soon as I was big enough to push the mower. My dad never touched it again. Same for snow shoveling, etc. I don't know a single person whose kids do any of those tasks. I hate to be all "kids these days," but kids don't change. Parents do.

Haha - true for us as well! There were so many ways to make money for kids then, now not so much. You are right about the parents changing. Although I live in CA now, I can't imagine making my son go shovel the car out after the plow truck just buried it at 6am, before school, oh and warm up and clear off the car too.

Yep, your dad and mine would get along!
But then I hear all of these stories about failures to launch because some kids haven't learned the life skills they need to be on their own. Go figure.

When I want to watch something but can't settle, I go for either bake off because it's so soothing or law and order original recipe since I've seen every one at least 8 times. Sometimes the brain just needs a break

Good morning. Leaving Delaware and heading to Maryland now. Spent the night at a service area truck stop. Free, effective, weird. Lol.
Accountability. Don't buy the M&M coffee and caramel. Bad idea.
QoTd. Baby sitting from 12-16. Got my driver's license on my 16th birthday. Had a job the next day. The Great Gryo. Then a couple years at SeaWorld before I started office work. I'm a huge believer that all young people should have to work food service. Teaches you all sorts of things about humanity and how to treat others as well as guiding you to drive to succeed in a different, less yucky job. Fast food is hard work.
food today is TBD. It's a gorgeous day out and I am going to enjoy the sun and avoid the bad foods and drink only water!
Peace Everybody
