I've been to a game at the Coliseum, and was underwhelmed. You guys really, really need a new ballpark. And probably a new owner.

Yes, agreed! The chatter says potentially Vegas if not in Oakland.

Good morning from New Jersey. We had a wonderful date with a good friend with the Freedom Tower as a back drop. I had bites of all the things and no regrets. I was scared I would get stuck with the crispy rice ahi and then later with the Cacio e Pepe, so that reminded me to just have a little and chew like crazy. Such an excellent meal. Added the toppings from a small piece of pizza and broccoli rabe. Yum!

Today marks eight weeks on the road. My weight has remained stable. I did find most of the pound I lost last month. I've worked real hard to incorporate exercise into almost every day. Even if it was just marching around Hoboken and Weehawken last night. We still have so much to do and see, can't even think of a return home date yet. It's on to Delaware today as we work towards our next visit in Norfolk, VA.

QoTD. Not sure the what, but the design would definitely include lots of resting benches and chairs. Slow walking museums kills my back and sometimes I really just want to sit and stare at something and absorb it all in.

Food today is going to all prepared by me so it will be all good choices.

B. Fresh out of the chicken egg and a slice of bacon

L. Deli turkey and an ounce of cheddar

D. Flank steak, spinach salad, 1 or 2 smashed baby potatoes.

lots of water today. I've been sucking at hitting my numbers on that.

Peace Everybody.

I have never given a thought to crispy rice ahi or Cacio e Pepe. I have no idea what those words mean.

You are missing out! They are two of my favorite foods. Crispy rice is sushi rice normally in a square and fried crispy with raw tuna on top. And cacio and pepe is pasta with black pepper and grated parmegiano Reggiano cheese. Yummmmmmm!

yes - I was going to say that Grim would probably be OK with cacio and pepe...

I tried pasta only once since surgery, maybe 5 years ago. It was painful, and I haven't been tempted since.

oh yea - I forgot about that. So no cacio e pepe for you! (although you'd probably like it if you could handle pasta...)

Cacio e pepe

The only reason once in a blue moon I regret my surgery because I can no longer eat it with gusto.

Exactly this. It was amazing but I limited myself to maybe two tablespoons-ish. Beyond the calories, I was terrified it would get stuck. Chew, chew, chew!
