There is a museum in St. Joe Missouri that is called The Patee House. It's an old Victorian style hotel that has been turned into a museum and it's made up of collections that random people have donated over the last 100 years or so. It's fascinating what people collect and I think should be called the Museum of Stuff.

I like the Museum of Stuff. And I always enjoy seeing what people collect. Things that never would have occurred to me. If someone made it, someone collects it.

When we are watching sports here, Rob (CA native) always comments on east coast time and how crazy it is especially for super late games. He can't get over fans in the stands at 1am.

As a kid, when the Sox played on the west coast, games started at 10pm. I always snuck a transistor radio under the covers to listen. I always woke up in the morning with a dead battery.

People in Cupertino area make fun of Apple campus for the reasons you mentioned you want for your museum. It's round (like a space ship) and it's HUGE! We've been told it can be seen from space. I have a friend who lives nearby and is so bitter about the spaceship; first because of the traffic during construction, then the house prices sky rocketing because all Apple employees showed up in the area. I think it looks cool but I don't live nearby.

Your majesty et Al.

I just finished watching the new Boston Marathon doco. Other than the human tragedy, it's an eye opening look at some dubious investigation decisions etc and some amazing personal stories.

QOTD: Aussie rules football of course haha

Food: been ramping up lately; going well with food and protein.

12 week anniversary tomorrow!

Have a great day all!

Definitely an example of the worst in the "citizen crime stopper" approach. The recent college murders up in Idaho here also fall into that category for me.

If you really want to be depressed, compare the casualties at the Battle of Lexington to a shooting at a school, supermarket, or nightclub. It's demoralizing.

I'm afraid we'll never get out of this. It's probably just as well I don't have my whole life ahead of me - I can only imagine these shootings are going to get worse (if they could get any worse, .that is) unless the politicians finally decide to do something about it. I must say I love being out of the country when the worst thing I have to worry about is pickpockets.
