What's on your Saturday menu?
Kritter Kontrol. That's funny.
Someone once told me I had a raccoon in my attic. I think they meant it as a euphemism.

ha ha!! I probably have a few raccoons in MY attic, too (as in - the euphemism!)
yea we liked that name Kritter Kontrol, too - that's why we called them instead of the half dozen other wildlife removal places back when we had resident raccoons a few years ago. The guy was really nice, too. We asked him before he got started if he kills the raccoons (because we would have felt horrible if he did), and he said no - he has some property way out in the boondocks, so he lets them out there because it's too far away for them to find their way back. He said raccoons have been known to return to their "home" from up to ten miles away!

I had a raccoon come in through the cat door once. Did not come through it, knocked it completely out of the door. I came home from work at 1:00 AM and found it had made a nest on my bed. I chased it out with a broom and put blocks in front of the hole in the door until I could get it fixed next day. In Ohio if you call a wildlife person they are obligated to kill it and I felt sorry for it.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
I used to call my cat door the raccoon door, they were relentless coming in for the cat food. At least 3 of them. I did have someone come out to trap them but when I found out they have to kill them I released the one that was caught from the trap. I could not be the agent of his demise.

Oh drat, sucks to have a critter in the attic! The Allstate commercial tells me they can do a lot of damage in a short amount of time. Good luck getting them out!
I had a lot of success with booking.com and hotels.com during random travels internationally. There can be some really great experiences if you're willing to go off piste. Hope you find something that fits, though. I think we stayed in Aarhus the last time in Denmark.

actually, i've been looking at (and saving "good" options) on booking.com! I used them (and airbnb) when we went to Italy last year. When DH and I travel together, we usually get an apartment - but since I'll be by myself, I'd be happier in a hotel that's in the middle of things. Finding some good stuff - but yea, Copenhagen isn't cheap! I'm now looking at options in Malmo and Lund (will stay in one or the other for a couple of nights) - much cheaper than Copenhagen (so is Stockholm, surprisingly....)

.I saw that snoopy dog, so cute! I feel you on the weather, I walked my bike down to the tune up guy in the blowing snow. -'
I am so excited, I found out last night that they are doing early release screenings of Are you there god, it's me Margaret on Wednesday. My jr high self is so happy, 4 of us are going. Today just some errands, meeting friends downtown at 5 for dinner and Samantha bee. My one friend hates to drive so she will bus down and I will take her home, it's about half an hour in the opposite direction but I prefer to do that, especially late on a Friday or Saturday. They released a new advanced Pilates class Thursday that I'm going to do as well.

JB started squealing when she first saw the trailer. And again when she saw the sneak peek announcement. Don't tell her, but we have tickets for Wednesday too.
They blow stuff up in this, right? At least a good car chase?
