What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
I'm the outlier here...I'm body by savory, not body by sweet! I even had that chocolate peanut butter mousse pie in the house for a dinner party last weekend and didn't try it! An extra helping of pizza, yes please!
Ahhh TJs is one of my happy places! Mini cucumbers, shaved Brussels sprouts, chicken shawarma thighs to grill, cooked chicken breast in balsamic, allllllll the things in the frozen section like palak paneer, olive bites, and almost everything, their cheeses are exceptional, fig and olive crackers, strawberry vanilla yogurt, their spice rubs (the savory allium one is awesome as is the salmon spice rub), their wine...I've never not liked something from there! I do go to aldi occasionally but mostly for dry goods for the kids like cereal and cookies.
B: hmmm maybe I will hard boil some eggs!
L: leftover cilantro chicken mini wonton soup (these are from TJs and soooo good, i just heated up chicken broth and added them for 2 minutes
D: ground turkey tacos! with cheese and sour cream and spicy peppers!

That's willpower, I probably would have had to have had a bite just to taste it!

I have been doing rather clean Keto now for last 4 months and I really don't want sweets. Sweet smell nauseates me. Yesterday I bought muffins in Costco. I have an SUV. I had to put them in a plastic bag and tie it because the smell was nauseating. I knew it the smell would get to me as I drive, I would start dry heaving. (I carry trash can bags in my car for that very reason - they keep the smell contained)

I have emesis bags in my car. If I am at a hospital or doctors appointment and they leave me alone in a room, I grab a couple and keep them in the pocket behind the passenger seat. You never know as a WLS patient that it will come in handy.

Good idea. I've had to throw out brand new TJ's bags for that very reason.

I also have strong nausea meds. Depends how bad it gets - chewing 1/2 pill is often enough, other times - I had tp take 2. (25mg) they are nasty, but work well.
The food stuck - and the need top get it out, I only can do that when I'm at home. When it happens at work - it wont come up. There were a few times that I had to drive home.

You and I, we would not be eating each other's food stash.
