What's on your Wednesday Menu?

I figured. :) Being that I would have been under 8 years old during these visits, it wouldn't be something I remembered as a kid at all. I'd guess any place that offers buffets like that wouldn't be a serious steakhouse, retrospectively.

Matt-you could buy the 8# prime rib and have the butcher department cut to smaller portions, freezing the rest for another time.

Will butchers do that? I've cut them down myself but my counter space is limited. I can always give some away to family and friends.

Just have some, three meals a day, until it's gone. It won't take long.
I'm sure your family and friends are all very nice people. But it's prime rib. Screw them. They can get their own.

Hello Queen et al.
Having a good day and spirits remain high!
QOTD: I always liked cereal but generally opted for toast with butter and Vegemite. Favourite cereal was sultana bran, love the flakes and juicy sultanas. Also enjoyed weet bix as a kid, very plain but loved it. Never enjoyed really sugary cereals.
Food: ramping up slightly so we shall see how that goes. Adding a ham omelette into the day and the nutritionist wants me eat slightly more throughout the day. Happy to push a little as long as I don't feel unwell.
'Hope everyone has a good day, anyone heard from Amy?

I grew up in the town next to the North American Weetabix factory, which is hilarious because there is nothing else happening in this town. It's a one flashing traffic light and one gas station kind of place, but they still churn out zillions of Weetabix every day! I think everyone I knew growing up had some relative who worked there.
Enjoy the ham omelette!

How funny! When I was 5 my father took on a temporary project in Hobart (in our island state of Tasmania) and we lived near the Sanitarium factory and despite only living there less than a year and being 5, I can still smell those weet bix being made!!!
