What's on your Wednesday Menu?

Marilyn never believed me that there was such a thing as canned bread. But Saturday Night Franks, beans and canned brown bread was a thing.

We were at a museum and they had a recreation of an old time swamp cabin and sure enough in the pantry was a canned bread.

My dad loved that canned brown bread and that meal!

I had the same reaction when a recipe asked for canned potatoes. I thought it must be a mistake but lo and behold they sell potatoes in a can.
DH grew up on ravioli in a can!

That's the one!!! And he was trying to convince ME they are actually good.
On a camping trip with kids, I wasn't on that trip, he got them the ravioli. They reported back to me the second they got home! Ultimatums were issued, choices were made: Italian wife or ravioli in a can?

Lol, he made the wise choice! I love the kids narc-ing in him though, lol

I guess I raised them semi-OK, because they were disgusted by them. But on the other hand they love Kraft mac and cheese...I failed there.

Good luck finding the dog trainer -- the best ones will train you and Rudy both! (I have a friend who has the worst behaved dogs and she's spent a fortune on dog training but she doesn't consistently do the things...after 4 dogs over close to 30 years, she is probably the problem, sadly).

Exactly this! I was going to say perfect dogs come from two things. Perfect human parents and well exhausted animals. A tired dog is a good dog. Hope that doesn't sound judgmental. I hope your appointment goes well today!
