What's on your Tuesday Menu?

20 years ago I was with you there. I remember trying Danish butter and Swedish butter when traveling and telling myself...this is what butter is supposed to taste like. Now that I can, I absolutely get imported butter. And Norwegian strawberries bought fresh off the farm stand are the best I've ever tried. Same with Croatian mandarins (or whatever variety they are). Food in the US is so different.

Good morning all and Happy 2-fer-Tuesday,
2-fer-Tuesday is now when you can pick 2 things to eat and they don't count for calories. I think I can get used to the sound of that.
I reached out again to a good friend that I've been really concerned about. They actually responded and said they're ok. That made my day.
Great news! I met with the surgeon for the panniculectomy. He said insurance will cover it! Hopefully, insurance thinks the same. He said that at my current BMI, 41, I would have a 33% chance of complications post surgery. Normally, he stays steadfast on only doing surgeries for people under 35BMI. He is in my Bariatric surgeon's practice and is familiar with my journey. He is going to research and talk to plastic surgeons that are accustomed to this for more information. Follow up scheduled for April 24.
QOTD - I don't have any knockoffs, that I know of. However, I do have cheap **** that is quality. I'm thinking about my 1.5" ewa portable speaker, my decade old 50" LG TV that's still killing it, antique Oak desk, antique Steamer Trunk, more kitchen appliances and gadgets that i can count.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.
L: Chicken Skewers.
D: ?? Market research tonight so not sure what timing looks like.

Hey, congrats! Are you stable where you want to be, or is this the first step for later? Awesome you have that support from the surgeon and that they want to be informed.

The panniculectomy is in preparation of hip surgery. I don't think I'm done losing. However, if insurance approves it, I may need to get it done now. I need a hip replacement to be able to regain mobility.
