Good morning, everybody!

Hopefully Amy is able to come home today and is resting comfortably. Probably less comfortably than Mike occupying a beach chair somewhere in the Caribbean, though.

In a blatant act of copying Jen, we are going to John Cougar Mellencamp on Thursday night. It's at the Chicago Theatre, which is where we saw Blondie last summer. Thursday is one of my work in the office days, so I will probably drive in and then Marilyn will meet me at my office and I can drive us home. We should be able to go to dinner before the show since it begins at 8:00.

I have an endocrinologist appointment at about noontime today. Fingers crossed that she will be able to take me off of Glipizide and just do Ozempic 2.0. I am kind of concerned that she will say stay the course. Although I was able to get the Glipizide weight off, I don't want the pressure of having to be on a weight gain causing drug and trying to work around it constantly.

QOTD: I used to swear by the Kirkland protein bars at Costco. But over the last few years, I have become more sensitive to sugar alcohols, so I don't eat them very much anymore.

I'm still on the ham trail.

I think he dropped the "cougar" in the late 80s/early 90s but I am sure you will enjoy the show even if it's by the just two names version or at least I hope so!
