What's on your Monday Menu?
Big fan Of Mango. Work husband was talking about Mimosa's they had Easter morning and he said he loved the pomegranate ones. I like a mango mimosa myself. I also like them raw with the red spice they put on them in Mexico. Tajin and Chamoy.

Good morning and Happy Monday!!
QJB, your virtual conference sounds interesting!
My easter was fabulous and it was the first day that felt like spring, finally.
QOTD - we moved a lot so I spent time in the heart of the city, in a small town and also 15 miles outside of a small town, I'd say it made me adaptable, lol.
I haven't decided what my workout will be today but I'm a fan of "never miss a monday" so I know I will get one it, plus I have a busy work day ahead!
QOTD -
coffee plus half and half X2
PB on an ozery
deli turkey with cheese
left over ham and scalloped potatoes
Have a terrific Monday everyone!

Mornin' All!
We're not sure when MIL will be released from the hospital, so DH will probably be working from home most of this week. She looked terrible yesterday, so I don't anticipate that she'll be released today, but we'll see. Meanwhile, my mother continues to complain about her arthritis and wants to go back to see the orthopedics PA. Again. Whatever. She's been told by both her PCP and orthopedics that the only thing left they can do is surgery, but she refuses to have it, so they basically have no other options for her at this point. They've tried everything else. I don't know how many times she needs to hear this, but evidently, she needs to hear it again. I'm surprised Medicare continues to cover all of these appts. Maybe if they stop covering the appts, she'll finally quit going. I'm so exasperated with having to deal with all this (both moms), but what other choice do I have? UGH.
I went out for my first bike ride of the season yesterday - it was so great to be out biking again! It's supposed to be a great week weatherwise, so I'm planning to get a lot of biking in. I rode nine miles yesterday and felt OK after that, so I'll do at least that today. I usually bike somewhere in the 20-30 mile/day range during the summer, so I have a lot of building up to do yet - but I should be up there again fairly soon if I'm consistent.
QOTD: from my birth 'til age 18 we lived in five different cities, so that's a hard question to answer. I went to three elementary schools, one junior high, and two high schools, and never had what I considered a "home town" (well, I guess where I live now is my home town, even though I didn't move here until I was in my late 20s). So...????
B/MS: I'm going to go with the meal replacement shake again today since that worked like a charm yesterday.
L: plain skyr with cranberry/cherry compote and 2 T of Grapenuts cereal
AS: either L&F or Ratio yogurt
D: chickpea spread on 35-calorie bread with tomato and cucumber slices, asparagus soup
have a great day, everyone!
The best thing that helps me with arthritis pain is diet.
No sugar, no alcohol, no dairy, no nightshade. Nightshade are huge for me to get relief from arthritis pain.
When the pain gets the best of me, I reluctantly use a special mux- rub, that I apply to the worst areas. I mix it myself, including some cream that has topical NSAIDS. I know I'm not supposed to use that, but ....Idont have nor can I use too many opiates.
I tried just CBD oil or cream, but I don't feel any improvement. I use Rx lidocaine patches, so maybe they can prescribe that to her? The patches are expensive, and often the doc has to fight with insurance to get them approved.
Best luck to you dealing with both moms.
