What's on your Monday Menu?

Thank you for the feedback! I have still been taking all pills whole and haven't been on any chewables since the nasty Celebrate calcium ones. I do have a pill splitter here for the tablets where that's an option, so can start that. I take a ton of pills right now, too. They're by far the largest things I'm consuming.
My surgeon does do hernia repairs...so not sure why they stopped checking at the duodenum. He seems to be taking a conservative view on all this.
Given my current condition they sure seemed to take me seriously today. I'm expecting a phone call tomorrow from the APRN on the first set of next steps. Will update more in the morning, I think. There's more going on now than just GI symptoms, which is just bonus fun in my book at this point.

Good luck at your WLS. I'm also going to that office today. I'm going for a skin removal consult.
I picked up dried mangoes from Costco and they are delicious. It's hard to just eat one serving.

Oh hey, that's exciting! You're a year and a half out now, I hope it's covered by the plan you have. It's funny, when I was asking whether I should care about my waist measurements being over recommended she looked at everything, immediately said it was all extra skin and it would all go away when I get it taken off. Like...I'm not considering that at this point. Ha.
And yep, love mangoes! Perfectly ripe, delicious, mmm...

I bought a bag of those in Costco. I had to give most of it away as I had a problem eating just small serving. They are natural "candies". Unfortunately they were very good at rapidly raising my BS. And I was dealing with a severe Reactive hypoglycemia, so having them at home was not an option (I would eat them).
Most dry fruits are unfortunately like that - concentrated sugar. They are tasty.

Glad to hear that. You have been suffering too long.
